When we were at open house for the school last week. Hubby was making faces at a baby that was in front of us the whole time. It was pretty funny. I asked him if he wants another one ( can't happen) he just said what was he suppose to do the baby was making faces at him.:lmao:
:rotfl2:

Cel, I agree with Twink on the bits and pieces here and there.

Cute kid story, PJ!

Pumba, I only like my clams cut up teeny tiny in clam chowder. No moose in my tummy, unless it's spelled mousse! My mom tried to pass a moose roast off on us kids as beef when I was little. It didn't work . . .

My mom tried to pass kidneys as liver when I was a kid, LOL. I think it actually worked for a while. These days, no kidneys, but the family still loves liver, it's great when properly soaked in milk for a while (especially veal liver), cooked with lots of onions and butter served with mashed potatoes. They actually request it sometimes.

That being said, I am going to pop a frozen quiche in the over now

we passed heart off as a slice of beef with a hole in the middle
kids never knew......hahaha.....i only like chicken livers......YUMMY

Didnt want to gross anyone out.......I love critters.......:rotfl:

This kid is waiting for his parents to come home. He has teenage brothers and sisters who should be watching him. But they have been known to play catch on the road with him in the middle sitting on the road. Even when the parents are home he roams the streets. It is sad.

Marita -- I used to work in chicken plant that de boned chicken for McDonalds and other places. I was in quality control. We worked in a freezer. So I used to layer my clothes. sweats then jeans on top of them. Then a lab coat and freezer vest. So if you find a bone or wood chip( chickens eat the crates they are delivered in sometimes) they could trace it right back to the bin and person who checked it.

Celery-- Nicholas is big and always was. I wonder how tall he really be? I think he will be well over 6 ft for sure, since he is 5' 2 at age 10.

I don't think the consumption of animal livers, hearts, and kidneys is on the list of approved topics. :scared:

1. Our clinic here in cincy is in the ghetto. I walked up and down mcmillan street shouting "PJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!," but no one answered. Are you SURE you're in the ghetto?

2. she killed a baby? I haven't seen that movie. please explain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1. I live in the wood. It's like the hood. It's just North of where you were. My parents' first apartment was on McMillan Street. It was rat infested but it was all they could afford because they were dirt poor. No kidding. I've been told that sob story many times.

2. I need to clarify (tm). I refer to anyone under the age of 10 as a baby. Do you want me to spoil the movie for you? I would have to if I was going to clarify further.

did y'all know that I now emulate hollywood?
yep.
I wanna pose like her!
all the characters do. face or not.
I just have another person or so to lose.
Hollywood? My big sis? You wanna be like her? Why now? I need clarification.

P.J.-- don't you just love what comes out of little ones mouths. I use to say my kids are our free entertainment when they were little and driving in the car.
With 30 of them in the room I have at least 5 funny stories a day. They CRACK me up. And there are some that are particularly funny kids. If I'm having a bad day, I go work with them because I know they're sure to cheer me up! I have a really hard time not laughing at them but I try not to because they're always so excited to share something with you and I don't want to crush them by laughing and telling them that Africa is not, in fact, the mafia. :lmao:

PJ- WThelk? dead babies in My Fair Lady? are we talking about Henry Higgins and Eliza Doolittle? the play Pygmalion?

So I tried Cel's my heritage face thingy.
Too bad it is a lying program cause I had an 80% match to Jessica Alba.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Buwhahahahaha. Jessica Alba!!!

I wish.

PJ- I just saw your last post. Please clarify. What movie did you see again? is this some newfangled version?

And before I get all puffed up I should have checked all my celebrity matches.... aparently I look 60% like Fred Astaire. :rotfl:

Okay, this just really isn't going well for me. But I'm laughing. Like an idiot. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I was talking about GWTW. SO I'll just spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it....

I was referring to the fact that Scarlett's daughter dies. Hence the killing of the baby comment. Hooboy.

:lmao: Thank you PJ for the clarification. It all makes sense now! And I loved the Mafia story. Please feel free to share more :)

I am please to report that the DH top celebrity match in the looks dept is Prince William of Wales (62%). Of course the DH is a goog looking man but he doesn't look like the Prince. Feel free to pretend that I look like Jessica Alba. DS's top match (61%) is Ashlee Simpson.:rotfl: They do have the same nose.

See, I guess a goog clarification does come in handy from time to time. Could it be that the BBN was right??? Speaking of the BBN, I'm off to that TR.

I'll share more stories, but in small doses. Don't want to overwhelm anyone.

Thanks everyone, it was a mess. I didn't sleep well last night, every little noise woke me.

:sad2:

They're singing the big title song in Hello Dolly right now. One of the great musicals ever. Of course, my favorite is The Muppet Movie (Moovin' Right Along). Any second Louis Armstrong will be singin, one of the iconic moments in music history.
PJ-Have any broken your heart yet. I have a thousand funny stories from my teaching days back in the late 70's, but the wtory that sticks with me is one that literally made me leave the room to cry. It was early '80(before your time, I know) and one reading group was playing the noun game where you make a chart on either side of an easel, with a word at the top(this time whale) and one group had hostig under h. Took a second, and made me cry that we lived in a world where that would be the noun 8 year olds would think of for h. I'm misting now. Maybe it was Louis. Naaah.
Cel-It's pirates of the ca-ri-beeeeee-an. But it's Car-RIB-be-an Beach Resort. I think they want to keep the images of the two separate.
I'm off the next two days and feel better than I have in a while, so maybe I'll have something up by Thursday on my trippie. There. I'm committed. I'll get something up.

Remember this folks, check on Thursday!!

Hi, DTD, glad you feel better.

Steph, that had to be a very out of the ordianry incident, I am sure things will be fine. Hope you sleep better tonight!

Could it be that the BBN was right???

Yes.;)

Ok, I had to play too. I did the picture thing. It said my face most matched Hayden Panettiere. Do y'all even know who she is? It also said Mischa Barton, and get this Big L: KATE WINSLET!:thumbsup2

DTD: Thursday. Got it. Thx for the heads up.

Moo: forgot to tell you, the puppies are so cute.

MommyP:
no GWTW? Shame on you.

Twink:
I didn't know what the heck PJ was talking about. Dead babies? Glad she clarified.

java: sorry for your sleepless night.

Nab: Glad you had a good thxgiving.

Cel: behave in CinCity

Marita: So proud of you for making the meeting. Goog job!

Pumba: I love food, but my belly was aching a bit after your description. Hoped the rolaids helped.

LilG:
Autism. What is the reason behind that? Are we just more adeptat diagnosing or is there something we're missing? Environmental reasons, cultural, social, reasons? Very interesting question.

Hi to all of you!

I think Mr. Moo is finally warming up to both puppies. He has them corralled on top of his footstool tonight. They like it up there!

See, I guess a goog clarification does come in handy from time to time. Could it be that the BBN was right??? Speaking of the BBN, I'm off to that TR.
Yayyyy, glad you're doing some more TR writing! And I knew you meant GWTW.

Uma, I'm lovin' your TR! Sorry it took me 100+ posts to get over there. I posted the "waiting for Nemo" photo. Hope you don't mind . . . it is a really gog pic of you and Cel.

And Cel - get writing!!!!!!!!!!! Your fans are waiting.

You too, DTD! Looking forward to hearing about your guys trip!

Moo. great news on Hubby and the pups warming up! Hope it works out for you.

I think I am feeling Pumba's sick stomach approaching me on Friday. Just a hunch, though!

Pumba, send Moose and steamers ASAP please :)

Hi everybody! Just popping my head in to say hey before I turn in for the night.

Yes.;)

Ok, I had to play too. I did the picture thing. It said my face most matched Hayden Panettiere. Do y'all even know who she is? It also said Mischa Barton, and get this Big L: KATE WINSLET!:thumbsup2

Yeah, yeah...it said Kate for me too (and also Sophie Marceau and Keira Knightley. HA!) But I'm thinking that's just because 'one-eyed drunken alien' was not an option. :confused3

On the flip side, Jared Padelecki and Goran Visnjic were listed too. Sorry, I think not.

Ooh, ooh, bbn - I know who Hayden Panettiere is! Did Julia Roberts come up?!

I tried it with different photos and got some varying results: Sally Field, Laura Bush, Oprah, Susan Sarandon, Myrna Loy, Kathryn Heigl(?!!!) AND A BUNCH OF PEOPLE I CAN'T REMEMBER OR DIDN'T KNOW!

I put my DD's photo in and one of her matches was Kate Winslet too! The best match was Jodie Sweetin from Full House :confused3

The photo you use sure makes a big difference.

I did NOT get Kate Winslet. Which proves that I don't look like her. At least not in a head shot. ;)

I will say that DS got Kiera Knightly too. :rotfl:
And I had to look up Hayden- very pretty Babynurse!!

Maybe I will try another photo. It reccomends using several photos of yourself and seeing which names come up repeatedly.

G'night all!

ps: L-dawg- I think Goran Visnjic is cute. Your Friend, Fred Astaire.

GOOG MORNING!

Well not I have to scrounge up a picture and go do the celebrity picture thingy. I'm a-feared I might be Jessica Tandy instead of Jessica Alba however.

Nothing exciting going on here....Hope all is well with you all!

HAVE A GREAT DAY!
