Lynette, my plans for this weekend include getting things ready for my trip, including any needed shopping (not much, no clothes, no shoes). Start gathering things to pack.
Oh and I really need my way way way way overdue oilchange before my car dies! Exciting stuff, huh?

I really should get my nails done tomorrow, they are getting too long for typing, and I am way overdue already. But I decided to save the money and wait till Friday, just before I leave, so I can be as "fresh" as possible. Luckily, I have matching (not matchy matchy) nail polish to use as needed to fix what needs fixing. 4 more work days!

I HATE my look in the wedding - everything about me - arrgg even the oh well - It may have something to do with dh and I never got our album made - I do have our proof album!! lol)

Twinks forgot to LOL at your candy marshmellow egg story - I bought a bag - first time, but I remember eating them as a kid!! My kids "WTH are these things? are they edible?" (I think I saw a couple go in the trash! hey, I remember liking them!! um, not hiding them tho!)

We got a new computer. Woo hoo for a 22in. screen. lol! It's bigger than the TV in our bedroom. SOOOOOOOOO fast too. Oh my word that 6 year old thing was so slow. You don't realize it until you have something new. My Dad took it apart and there was a part that had fallen out. It was some type of cooling device, hence my burnt up computer. Thankfully he was able to recover my PICTURES! Yay! Better yet he is going to put them on discs for me so they will be forever safe! I think I will make another set of copies, one to keep here and one to put in my Mom's safety deposit box.

I found a couple of DARLING dresses at Ross today. Only 14.99 a piece. So with the 2 dresses I got last weekend and my one favorite dress that I call old faithful(because it's the only dress that will fit me at 8 months) I have 5 dresses and a jean skirt for church.

Twinkie - I got some silk today from the Silk Baron. Apple green and a turquoise. OH MY GOODNESS! They are gorgeous!

We had lovely weather all day, almost to hot. Then at supper time the skies opened up with a huge storm. Power went in and out.

Rented some movies to watch tonight. Bedtime Stories, When the Earth Stood Still and Doubt. Hope the power stays on.

Nab, Yay for good weather. How hot is almost too hot in your book?

DH and I finally dropped my car of for an oilchange and he took me to pick it up a few hours later. YAY for not having to sit around and wait.

Been working on a work project most of the day that I wanted to work on, not have to. After dinner, I took a nap and hoped to wake up in time for the Barbra Streisand concert. Of course I overslept. But I had the foresight to tape it, so it's starting now...

Well, we have arrived in Ann Arbor and are hanging out/napping until 1:00 am, then heading to the hospital for my friend to have her MRI. We are in a fairly new, all non-smoking hotel. Very nice. And. Yay for wireless!!!

Allie - Congrats of finishing your race!

Sandy - Thanks for keeping us posted I was too busy this afternoon to check. Had to shovel out my car to make room for overnight bags. That took a while

Nabbie - We had AWFUL storms today too! But it was still fairly warm, so I broke out my jean capris.

And, Lynette - I did a pedicure with new polish and I'm wearing my sandals sans socks!

I KNOW!! Have to color my hair tomorrow. It's not bad at all, but I have to eradicate any traces of roots, LOL. Monday afternoon is teeth cleaning.
Monday night till Thursday will be very busy at work, then I have Friday off for any last minute stuff, and leave early Saturday afternoon,

Moo, it's a good thing your a night owl! Hope the MRI goes quickly. Even nightowls tend to falter around 3-4 am, I think. At least I do anymore. Actually earlier. Just a few years ago, I could stay up all night, LOL. Not anymore.

PS: Did Pumba ever say where they are staying or if they own DVC? I don't remember.

Marita - My friend and her daughter are napping, but I'm not really tired right now, so I figure I'll just wait to get some sleep afterward. Hopefully, we'll be back at the hotel by 3:30. We're only about 3 miles from the hospital, but I think we're leaving about 1:00 because she's supposed to get there a half hour before the test.

I don't think Pumba usually says where they're staying when they go to WDW.

Yay for having Friday off That'll help the week go by faster.

Nab - this weather seems weird to me!! 2 days of over 80 (reminding me why I hate hot -thought I hated cold! ) Within 10 min the weather changed from HOT to COLD brrrrr!

I'm back home and I need a nap!!!

Sandy - My friend can't drive right now because she's afraid she'll get a vertigo attack, so I and some other friends from work have been helping her out. Anyhow, we are really good friends and I haven't been able to take her to any of her other medical appointments on weekdays because I used up most of my leave when I was off work recently, so I was happy she had an appointment over the weekend so I could pitch in. Even though it was in the middle of the night!

We made a little adventure out of it, which was good because she's been cooped up at home for the last three weeks, except for doctor's appointments trying to figure out what's wrong. They're thinking the vertigo is migraine-related, but she needs to see a neurologist once the MRI results are back. She was in a pretty good mood after taking the valium (she is claustrophobic) last night, so this morning, I talked her into a little shopping trip at the Whole Foods Market (we don't have one nearby), and we drove around Ann Arbor a bit since it was such a nice day. We went past "The Big House" (Michigan Football Stadium) and stopped at a couple of the spirit shops so her DD could get a Michigan t-shirt. And last night, there were lots of people out and about and many end of school year parties going on, so it was kind of fun seeing all that stuff. Especially because that's where my DD went to college for undergrad. Oh, to be young!!!

Moo, sounds like you squeezed some fun out of trip at least. Goog for you.

I finished the project I was working on (that was fun for me) and sent it to BB. I know she will be pleased. Wrote some files that break down a huge lump some of revene into pieces, down to $21K in Other. W00t!

So Im done with work for the day. Right now I am sitting in a very old pink robe with hair color on, just waiting for the timing. Then shower and wash work clothes, eat and nap in some order....

Moo that is sweet!! btw - I had vertigo that went out of control - no driving, etc - then went to wdw - and.... dh went on ToT - which I love, he hates - but... that gave him rights to get me on RnRC - which I thought would really send me to bed with the vertigo... SHOCK - I havent had vertigo that bad sense!! I get an episode now and again, so dd says - time to go to Disney!! Its really scary when I was driving... I try never to drive... far (I still go and pick dd up from school - so I could pull over and call dh!)

Very sad. crying. DD guinea pig passed away.

amazing how attatched one gets to a cavy! such a sweet pet...

2. If one of your kids screams as though she's seen a ghost, probably what she's actually seen is a dead crayfish behind one of the shelves. You'll want to try not to remind yourself that the crayfish have been gone since December.

3. And finally, my eyes speak volumes about me. Sometimes they say I'm feeling peaceful, sometimes they say I'm annoyed and sometimes they say "go away and leave me the hell alone." And that was a direct quote.

I hope we've all learned something.
