MP- we need an ultrasound update.
Twink, I am missing Life on Mars too....that Jason O'Mara is pretty easy on the eyes, eh? On the upside, at least we have Rescue Me!

I know! I am giving the Unusuals a try. Jury is still out on that...and of course I :rotfl:at 30 Rock.
Twinkie-- are those the marshmallow ones that are colourful on the outside? Yuck... I don't like those but if they are the ones with the chocolate coating I am in.
They are the nasty ones that are colourful on the outside. No chocolate at all. Bah.

Celery- How are you chica?
Moo- How is the shrinkyness going?
Melinda- :flower3:Surely you eat lunch more than once every two weeks.

Trollops- I am going to the walmarts today. If I make a scene I will blame it on you.

Suppah Report- I have no clue. The cupboards are bare.
Weather- Flippin' hot. I switched out the twins clothes yesterday. Need to do the boys today. Also all my lollygagging, procrastinating, and rationalizing means I am NOT ready for the wardrobe implications of said hot weather. So no more excuses. Operation Hottie College Chick is ON.

Hi girlies!!!!

I love Fridees!
Happy to report a 4.0 in my MED100 (Medical Terminology) class that just ended Tuesdee. I are smart...whodathunkit!

Yesterday was the "Role Call" (Roll???) and I managed to PISS off DH's family but GOOD. They were all set that he'd be released because of his in-jail evaluation and it was his first time offense(s)...but the DA objected and I got to say a few words to the Judge (I think it's not THAT uncommon to saw a few words at a role/roll call???? no idea)to the tune of my fearing my life and safety. So he's still locked up. Thank You Jesus!

Today, I'm here to play, if ya want!

hey you........nice seeing you again.......how are you doing and how are the kiddos.

leaving on a jet plane tomorrow ......can hardly wait......but still need to do ALOT around here......

Congratulations on your 4.0 in M T......that is an awesome grade...

see you all

That's what happens when people dont post. Not naming names :rolleyes1

Sincere condolences to you. I wish him and you a speedy recovery!

Guilty as charged. I shall try to mend my errant ways. Pinky promise!

Thanks for the condolences and well wishes. Thankfully, it was minor surgery. Outpatient, even. He'll be fine, as long as he doesn't continue to mess up my house!

Lynette--Hope your hubby has a speedy recovery.

Thanks, NAB.

I think your DH needs to have a come-to-Jesus meeting with your BIL. This fly-by-night behavio(u)r of his has to stop!

I know! I am giving the Unusuals a try. Jury is still out on that...and of course I :rotfl:at 30 Rock.

I am also giving The Unusuals a try. Like you, the jury is still out.

Natasha and I are awaiting the season premiere of So You Think You Can Dance. We lof that show!

I'll be wrapping up my workweek in about 45 minutes. I have to be home to collect my children from their respective play dates, and then we are hoping to have suppah out (Fuddrucker's?) and then go to a movie.

Enjoy the rest of your Friday, everyone!

Operation Hott College Chick is on? Dangit. Back to the gym. I'll have a grilled chicken sandwich hold the peanut butter eggs. *big non peanut butter egg sigh*

Glad the dh is doing ok Lynt.

Have a great trip Pumba.

Y'all have a nice weekend.

Wendy Lou - TG for that DA and judge!!! :grouphug: Yay on your super duper smartness!

Lynette - Here's hoping your hubby cleans up his act so you don't have to hurt him :lmao: On a more serious note, glad he came through his surgery OK. My internet crapped out last night, so I'll be checking my games posthaste.

Nabbie!!!!!!! We have mid-80s here today. What a shock it was to leave work today :goodvibes Hope your BIL straightens up and gets to work on your basement.

bbn - WOOT FOR HIGH SPEED!!!!!!!!!

Twink - I seem to be in a little stall at about 43 lbs off. Hopefully, my body is just regrouping after losing the first batch of weight. Worst case is that it is in starvation mode and holding onto the fat for dear life. I'm going to try to up my calories for a couple days to see if it will rev up my metabolism.

Pumba! HAVE A FABULOUS TRIP TO VISIT THE MOUSE AND PLEASE EAT A DOLE WHIP FOR ME!!!! :dance3:

Hey all - week from heck at work is over - but not really. cuz I've got lots of work to do this weekend. ha.
But I bought my GPS! WOOO! and the turn by turn navigation worked right out of the box.
now I've got to figure out the geocaching thingamabob.

Uma- glad to hear you got a good result at role/roll/rowl call. Please do consider your safety. Long term. And Congrats on the grades. I knew you were the smart one. ;)

Babynurse- Congrats on high speed. :woohoo: Give the DH a big ol' hug from me. I will have to dwell on making my signature sparkle. Heh. Operation Hottie College Chick is ON. again
Moo- I hope you get out of your stall.:rotfl:you KNOW I thought hiney-hider! I certainly have certain places (weights) my body likes to be. I am kind of mad at myself. I have just had no motivation whatsoever to restart good eating and exercise. Now that I am weaning the Grasshopper I am packing on the pounds. Just in time for summer. :scared:

To everyone else- as you can see I am finally mad enough (at myself) to get out of bed and work out that flab. (movie anyone?)

So I apologize in advance for any crankiness that is sure to ensue as my body adjusts to NOT eating 14 gajillion calories mainly in the form of cookies daily.

FORGOT TO TELL Y'ALL!

Oh, my - that cracked me up, Twink!!!!!!! :rotfl:

It did cross through my mind that this is about what I weighed I was when I was having trouble losing a couple years ago on Weight Watchers when I ended up giving up and started eating everything in sight. And put on about 50 pounds. Grrrrr.

Try high protein/lower carbs and LOTS of water/caffeine-free fluids. I don't think I've been drinking enough the last few days. I've only gotten in about 32 ounces so far today, so I'm making some herbal tea shortly.

Sandy - Chat tonight sounds good! But I need to get on the exercise bike first. 9:30ish?

32 ounces! Cheryl! You know my bare minimum is 80!
Maybe your body is different than mine, but that change was two weeks after my surgery.

I know, Cel! I usually struggle to get in 64 ounces, except when I was on liquids. It's hard having to wait over a half hours to drink after you've eaten some dense food.

It's especially hard to get in all my water on days like today when I'm stuck in a meeting and have only taken one bottle of water with me, but am afraid to drink more for fear of having to take a bio break at an inopportune time!!!

Twinkie - No thank you. I am never heard of these candy coated marshmallows and I would rather never have to try one from the sound of it. ;)

Moo - I don't doubt that we aren't wisely taking care of what God has given us and we should all do things we can to keep the Earth how He intended it to be. I do not however believe in global warming or anything the government says. They are all liars, republicans and democrats alike. ;) I'm doing my part what with my cloth diapers, homemade laundry soup,I don't use anything to clean except vinegar(sometimes bleach because who can live without it) and I kill ants in my yard with grits. :rotfl:

I do through out plastic bags though, what else is Seth going to put the litter box clumps in?

U/S Update: Still don't know if I'll be able to deliver naturally(you know the way God intended when he designed the woman's body ;) ) My placenta looks to now be over my cervix. He couldn't tell for sure. It looked like it was on both sides, but it could have been something else? IDK. Another u/s in 6 weeks to check again. Baby is also breech(which I knew), so hopefully it turns before there isn't any room. Baby is weighing in at 1lb 7oz. Chad felt he/she move last night for the first time. Being in the breech position puts most movement really low and nearly impossible for him to feel. Finally he did. He was so excited.

Chad's working overtime again tonight and tomorrow and again next weekend. This company is so awesome. He left early last week and they paid him for it anyway, and even if they hadn't he would have been paid for the full overtime amount since that is the way they bid the job. Very cool. He got 12.5 hours last week and should get the same this week if not more.

Very helpful because I think my computer died. It shut down and wouldn't boot back up. It sounds like a roller coaster going up hill. My Dad is going to look at it tomorrow, but it seems like we may be going computer shopping soon. Thank goodness for the overtime!

I got some of my fabric yesterday, so today I made a new bag.(for myself) That's the last one for me though. I have one made to sell and now on to making more.

Hi Moovers. What's up?

We decided to forgo the suppah-and-a-movie tonight, since it was so darn nice out! Big Daddy grilled us some turkey burgers and we had those with some salad, and then the kids played in the yard for a few hours. Boris has a soccer game tomorrow.....DH will take him there, and Natasha and I will be seeing the early show of Hannah Montana: The Movie. We also have an engagement party (DH's older brother) and a b-day party (my godson) to attend tomorrow. Oy.

My kids go back to school on Monday, so I'm hoping to at least have Sunday to relax together and just hang out. I can't stand rushing around and not getting some time to just "be".

What is everyone up to for the weekend?

MommyP - I know you do a lot of environmentally conscious things :thumbsup2 Time will tell on the global warming . . .

Hope things straighten around by your next U/S! Sorry about your computer being persnickety.

Calling all CHATTERS! pirate:

Lynette - I'm taking a friend to University of Michigan Hospital tomorrow night (at 2:00 am!) for an MRI tomorrow. Have to get my car cleaned out and I'm going to find a place to stay near the hospital so we're not running the roads in the middle of the night. That way, we can get some sleep and drive home Sunday morning.

Those are my exciting weekend plans! Yours sound more fun than mine!!!

Hopefully, our nice weather will hold so I can put the top down on my car for the first time this spring this weekend. w00t!
