Any thoughts on what we should do for August?

Well, MN gets pretty active in August (winter is right around the corner!). We have our state fair, lots of lakes, etc. People are still outside playing alot of sports, etc. Maybe action or sports shots? The theme of our fair always seems to be around food too (anything on a stick from A-Z). Or perhaps a lazy days of summer theme?? That would help here if we ever get hot again (current temp? 58F!!!)

What about photographs showing speed? Either pictures with long shutter speeds or pictures capturing motion?
