1. Didn't see Modern Family when it was on earlier in the week.
2. Too technologically challenged to record a show.
3. Has no life - so nothing else to do on a Friday night.

Modern Family is on again tonight at 9 - at least on the Boston ABC affiliate.

Watched the pilot via hulu...

It was okay. I'm not a huge sitcom sort of person though, and pretty much don't care for 1/2 hour shows.

It's a bit cliche on all fronts though, isn't it? (I thought the father of the teens was particularly stupid with a fairly unbelievable character).

We LOVED it - thought it was so funny.

I think the characters are totally "larger than life" and that is the point.

I laughed so hard during the Lion King scene, I woke my other half up. Watched again with him the next day and laughed even harder.

It is nice to have a 1/2 show that you can sit back and laugh!

I hope it does well!!


And yes Willy, we all know how BIG your . . . MOUTH is . . . hehe!

I loved it. Showed all three episodes to James (online) and he thought he was hilarious too.

I thought is was so poignant when Jay lies to Manny about his father and says he didn't show up cause he gave away his seat on the plane...

Also loved it when Gloria says to Jay : "That was funny...I'll tell that to my next husband when we're spending all your money..." HAHHAHAHAHAH
