Trying to plan 2025 and figure out MNSSHP dates. I have heard Tuesdays and Fridays have traditionally been the dates used, however there are no guarantees. As most of you know, the planning business is so complicated because you have to factor in which days you go to parks, where you are dining, etc.. The problem is they only seem to announce the dates for MNSSHP a few months before which makes planning tough. Any suggestions for how to get the best estimate on dates?

One rule of thumb is they usually leave Wed and Sat open - no parties on those days. Rare exception usually happens in that last week of the party, like if Halloween is on Sat.

As the actually holiday date gets closer, more days per week get added. At first there might just be 2 parties a week and by the last couple of weeks it can be as many as 5 parties per week.

What week do you plan to visit?

I would recommend looking at the first post of the Official 2024 MNSSHP thread. It lists all dates to the parties this year plus provides links to previous years party threads. @monique5 does an amazing job of capturing all the details of these parties, including party dates.

Dates are typically announced sometime between mid-April to the first week of May and have been announced as early as January. It seems, for the most part, August is Tuesdays and Fridays, September adds Sundays and October adds Thursdays. In any case, since you can't book most meals until 60 days prior to your trip, you'll have plenty of time to plan and re-plan from the time the announcement is made to the time you'd have to make ADRs. If next year's first party is Friday, August 8th (considering this year's was Friday, August 9th and they year before was Friday, August 11th), 60 days prior to that is somewhere around June 9th. No need to stress, you'll have all the info necessary before you need to really start cementing those plans.

Not sure yet.. there are so many factors when you plan, and all are interdependent... but at least in the old days you could finish all the planning a few months before you arrived so you could relax, now you STILL have to plan everything, worry about interlocking dates, meals, hotels, rides, etc, but even when you GET there, there is still more 'stare at a screen' time...

Except that you have to ALSO plan park days and tell them ahead of time which days you will use your tickets (and of course that depends on which hotel you're in, and of course that depends on your transportation and of course that depends on.... 🤣

If you are buying a multiday theme park ticket, they come with a range of dates (a 4 day ticket can be used any 4 days out of a 7 day range). You no longer have to tell them what days you are using the tickets or at what parks, just use them within the range. If you book a room only reservation, it is easy to change your hotel.

Were are thinking about this as well. One of our party has a tree nut allergy. I know you get a token to redeem, but could anyone speak to what would be given?
Once when we did this our kid had just gotten braces and they gave him something to turn in, but he wasn't given a tenth of what everyone else got going through the candy lines, and it was disappointing.

Compare to last year translating the days to this year's dates, not really a better method for guessing than looking at the most recent party run.
