MNSSHP Night Dining Question

I was told by a CM that I'll need to use a park admission for my 3 yo to dine at 5:15 in the park even though we are buying tickets for the party that night. The rest of us have APs. I seem to remember them letting guests for the Christmas party in as early as 4 pm. Has this changed or do you think they will enforce it?

That CM was incorrect. They will let you in AFTER 4:00p with just the party tickets.
