Mickey's Christmas party

We have been to Disney a couple of times during Christmas. This year we will be there for the 22nd which is a party night. We will be there from 21-31. We have a 10 day ticket. Is this party worth the extra money? Is it really different than other evenings?

If there is a MVMCP on Dec. 22, that will be later than they have ever offered MVMCP, as far as I can remember.
It might be very busy that night.

MVMCP is different than a non-party night.
The extra character meets and "Christmas treats" are not offered on non-party nights.

BUT, the Christmas PARADE will be performed during the afternoon (12:30 and 3:30pm, likely) starting the next day and running through Dec. 30.
And, Christmas Wishes will be performed nightly, Dec. 23-30.
