Mickey Mouse ears...

Taking this from the thread showing Obama with a set of Mickey Mouse ears, I was wondering if I'm the only one who has never had them.

I've been going to WDW for 22 years, but have never gotten myself Mickey Mouse ears. I don't even have a reason why not other than I've always gotten a regular cap just about every visit.

Anyone else here been "earless" forever?

I am earless! I had a pair when I was a kid, but somehow they got lost when we moved. I've just never bought myself a pair to replace them because I probably wouldn't wear them now.

I had the ears when I was a kid, and I've probably picked up a pair or two over the years(been going for 30+ years). I think they are cool, but actual use of them is pretty limited. If there was a cool way to display them when you got them home that would make it fun. I wear my WDW cap almost every day.

I think I had a pair when I was a toddler, but don't have them anymore. I FINALLY got a pair this past August at DLR, I wouldn't go home without them.

Funny thing, I ended up going home with 3 pairs. One for a friend with her name embroidered, one with my name embroidered, and one plain one which I got from one of the Disneyland Ambassadors.

I've been there 5 times and have never had the desire to purchase Mickey/Minnie ears.. I just don't think they look attractive on anyone other than the characters..

I know.. Weird.. LOL

I am 57 and have 3 pair of Ears. One I bought myself on my first trip to Disney World in 1990. One pair was brought to me from the 50th Anniversary celebration in Disneyland and one pair celebrates another anniversary from Disney World.

Yes, I'm a big kid -- at heart.
