My DW and I love following around the Streetmosphere characters. We usually devote a couple of nights during our trip to follow them around (usually from 5 PM-7 PM.) When we have gone by Guest Relations and asked for the schedule they are usually very good to look up their schedule or call. Unfortunately, we were there 2 weeks ago and the characters were in rehearsal, so we didn't get to see them. Luckily, we are going back in 4 weeks and they will be back! I was wondering if a few of the characters were still around. What ever happened to Bunny Hop? My DW LOVES her. She still imitates her to this day. We haven't seen her in a while. Also, is Frederick still a plumber? He is definitely my favorite!! I hate that Myron left, but maybe we will have to go by and see him at PI. Thanks for all the info. Any info. about the characters I mentioned is appreciated!

Thanks!!!

Dear Flavio Fellini,

This is Francis Floot, Future Movie Star from Bucksnort, Alabama! I see that you have also joined this SWELL new-fangled discussion place! That makes me happier than a cow on milkin' day. I have seen every single movie you have ever made...and it was the best twenty minutes of my whole life!

Dear Mister Fellini, now that you will be coming to Hollywood to film your next masterpiece, PLEASE consider me for a role in your film! I promise not to disappoint you. I can sing, I can dance, I can play a dead body better than anyone else in town.

I look forward to meeting you for an audition soon, Mister Fellini. And, as they say in Italian: "A-welcome-ah to A-Hollywood-ah!"

Best,

Francis Floot

I just love reading this post. Bumping up to front page.

So the best way to see the street performers is around supper time? :confused3

Well, Doll, as far as the "best" time to catch us, my reasonin' is this: afternoons/late evenings are the swellest! That's because everyone in Hollywood has already ridden everything and seen most everything that they want to see. So...folks are more willin' to stop and watch us do what we do. We enjoy late afternoons for that very reason. (oh! AND it's generally a LOT cooler at that time so our stuff is somehow MUCH funnier when folks ain't sweatin' like the Niagara!)

Mornings are fun, too. Don't get me wrong. It's just that things are swingin' in Hollywood at that time and the shows tend to feel a bit more forced and rucsed...but not ALWAYS. I have seen some really boffo things happen in the a.m!

Best,

Francis Floot

Thanks Franny Baby,

We'll see you in May.

Hiya friends!

I have some swell new pictures from our overnight rehearsals the other night and I wanna share them with ya! I can't figger out, though, how t'post pictures here. Can someone smart as a whip help a fella out? I'm behind the eight ball on this one...

Thanks a whole heck of a lot!

Francis Floot

we saw some cute performers over the weekend....a woman decked out in baseball lovers attire and a football guy...they were a hoot!

Francis, I think in order to post pictures here on the DIS, you have to have a certain number of posts first. But I have NO idea what that number is - maybe 25? So you'd better get posting away so we can see those pictures of yours!

I'm working on my itinerary now - trying to fit in as much MGM time as possible. Only problem with MGM is there are no good eating spots....

Hi Francis,

I had a difficult time learning how to post pictures, but once I got it, it really is not too bad.

First you do have to have the correct number of posts to do this.
Then you have to load your pictures onto someone else's site (I've tried using this Dis board site, but I keep timing out). You cannot use the Kodak site or your pictures come out like an red X.

After you download your pictures onto another site, you click on your picture so it shows up on your monitor. Then right click, and then click on properties.

You'll see stuff on the left hand side - find where it says address and copy this. I click and drag.

Next go into this thread and you'll see a yellow envelope up top here. It's on the B I U line underneath the (Font) (Size) (color).

Clicking on that yellow envelope, a box will come up. Hit control V (for pasting) and your picture will paste into the thread.

Good luck.
See you in May

Well I went to MGM for a few hours this morning and the street performers were out in full force. There were a ton out, and I saw lots of new faces along Sunset.
