Francis, you're a riot.

If your friends from Hollywood are reading this, shout out to Miss Fanny O'Rear and Miss Hollie Woods. Some of us don't get to see enough of them anymore.

Thanks for those web sites, I book marked them. :thumbsup2 I can hardly wait to get back there in May and see them they are a HOOT! :rotfl:

Hiya Doll,

I sure as heck do remember you! That wasn't too terribly long ago now, was it? A couple months or so? We had a GREAT time at the Labrea Tarpits, didn't we? Swell memories. I remember how you were chosen for the show two days in a row. That was quite a coincidence, indeed.

There are a lot of new Citizens coming to town starting next week! I hope you'll have the chance to meet them on your next visit.

Take good care!

Francis Floot

What a lovely picture of you and me together, Miranda! Thanks a whole bunch!

Best,

Francis Floot

Count me in as a big fan! I hope Gabriel Huntington(I'm not sure of her last name) and the tourists who sat on the Main Street (Hollywood Boulevard) are back. I especially love those tourists, who used to sit in their chairs right in the middle of the street, those nice chairs they told me cost $10 at Walmart.

HI there friend,

I am so happy to hear that you are a fan. That always makes a fellas day!

As a matter of fact, both Gabrielle Huntington AND Mary and Terry Cloth (the tourists in the chairs) are gone from Hollywood now. As you know, we are under strict government by the Old Movie Studio System, and from time to time the stuffed shirts from above swoop down and make BIG changes.

However, the good news is that the next time you visit us here in Hollywood, there will be many new faces for you to meet! I listed their names on another post here somewhere.

Seeya next time you come to town!

Best,

Francis Floot

Is There A Published Schedule As To What Days And Times Each Group Performs? Willl Be At WDW Later In The Spring And Hoping To Know What Day To Go To The Studios. Really Want To The See The Public Works Guys. My 5 And 6 Year Old Grandsons Loved Them, plus Me.

phoooey the pictures aren't showing up any more. I would of loved to see them. we never met up with or seen any of the street performers.

My fam loves the street performers! Last time we were there, the red haired scarlet totally picked on my dad because he had a barbel style mustach. It was great to see my mom crack up as much as she did. The jokes are hilarious too (99 baseballs walk into a bar....). I really hope we are lucky enough to run into the whole gang when we go in May. It seems like a hit or miss thing when it comes to seeing them.

Susan,

Miranda shared those "missing pictures" with me a few days ago. Maybe she can post them here again? I dunno. That might sure be a whole heck of a lot to ask. I haven't yet figgered out m'self how to post pictures here. Is it complicated, ya'all? I'm not so smart about these new-fangled computer jobbies.

As far as our "schedule" in Hollywood, the only part that stays the same is this: the Citizens are always opposite the Public Works fellas. The Bigwigs of Hollywood are right now working out our new schedules for the street.

One big change that we DO know of is that we will now be there ALL DAY LONG! There will be two alternating groups in the a.m. and two more alternating groups in the p.m. For example, from about eleven a.m. until four p.m. the first six Citizens will play on the hour and the Public Workers will play the half hour. At around three p.m. or so, the second group of Citizens will start playing the hours and the NEW "In The Can" film crew (you will LOVE them!) will play the half-hours. At shift-change we will most likely overlap by one show and so we'll plan something big for that time. (Maybe a "Funniest Citizen of Hollywood" competition?)

Here's a SPECIAL SCOOP for DISfolks especially!!! Even if you go to Guest Relations and ask them what times we'll be out there, they often do not know. Their JOB is to CALL US and find out but they've been bad about that lately. So, simply ask them to call us to find out. They have to.

Our new stuffed shirt is trying to get us listed in the brochure. I hope it happens soon. We'd enjoy that recognition very much!

p.s. I am currently at work on my promotional website and am hoping you will all join my fan club once it is up and running. :) I'll keep you posted!

Best,

Francis Floot

Susan and anyone else wanting to see the "missing pictures",
I am posting some of my favorites that turned out the best!!!! I certainly do not mind re-posting them because I think my original posting was almost a year ago! :rotfl2:

Hi Francis,

Glad to see you are still on the streets of Hollywood! Are Stone Granite, Skip to my Lou, the Great HP, Captain Sideman, and Myron still there? Are they in new roles?

Thanks,
Jim

Welcome to the boards, Jim! :wave2:

OK, Francis (or anyone else who might know), I have a question for you. What is the name of the character with the red hair and the red and black dress (the one in Miranda's pictures above)? The reason I ask is because she struck up a conversation with my 8 year old daughter this past January, and they talked for a good 15 minutes. In the course of the conversation, we found out that this certain character was "expecting" and was very interested in using my daughter's name for her new little one, saying it would be nice to know that she had a namesake out there somewhere. She also said if we come back later in the year, we should look for her, but in a smaller dress size!! My daughter absolutely loved her, as did my husband and I, but we forgot to get her name! I have a picture, but it would take me a while to post it. Could you tell me her name please so I can write about our daughter's new friend in our scrapbook along with the picture??? Thanks!!
