Me neither. First, I can't tell what half of these items are or what they will look like on a plate. They are called small bites so I assume they are very small.@LKing thank you! not what i expected the main dining and lounge menus to be
Small bites, big flavors… but hey, not everyone enjoys culinary adventures.Me neither. First, I can't tell what half of these items are or what they will look like on a plate. They are called small bites so I assume they are very small.
We're going to cancel our reservation this week. I'm sure someone else will enjoy it more than we would.
Actually, from the photos on the Disney Parks Blog, the lounge items are bigger than I expected. E.g. the Laughing Tiger salad has 6-7 pieces of beef, and the Beef Tartare comes three on a plate.Me neither. First, I can't tell what half of these items are or what they will look like on a plate. Yes, unfortunately I learned this detail when Napa Rose called me on Thursday to confirm my Princess Breakfast reservation for Friday. I happened to ask them if it would be in the renovated Napa Rose and they said no- it's still in the ballroom until further notice. I asked to cancel which they were able to do. I'm not paying that big money without the Napa Rose experience! It looks like the princess breakfast is still going to be in the Trillium Room. https://disneyland.disney.go.com/di...n-hotel/disney-princess-breakfast-adventures/
Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures continues to be temporarily held in the Trillium Room at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. It will return to Napa Rose at a later date. Check back here for the most updated information.

Thanks. We had made reservations for a friend's birthday this week. We decided to go to the parks during the day and get together with additional friends for dinner outside of the parks. We're in the parks often enough that we can try it in the future if we decide we want to.Enjoy the extra space on your calendar!
We stopped in tonight and tried the Laughing Tiger— it would be an extremely hearty appetizer or a modest size (but rich in flavor and substance) entree. It was actually heavier than we wanted as we had been indulging in Lunar New Year food booths.Actually, from the photos on the Disney Parks Blog, the lounge items are bigger than I expected. When they put the incredible Mushroom bisque in front of us my husband mentioned he can’t handle lactose— I cheerfully volunteered to consume both (so good!) and then they returned with a vegan soup (I think it was some sort of vegetable with citrus?) that he really enjoyed. The cocktail menu looked delightful and my husband enjoyed the Ojai Campfire.I was so looking forward to going when it opened but I’m not excited at all by the menus at the lounge or the restaurant. I’m surprised at how much has shellfish in it on the regular menu. (I have an allergy and I know they will work with that, but most of it needs to be changed and who knows what the substitutes are). For that much money, I think we will skip and save the cash. It does look like a beautiful remodel though! I love the addition of outdoor seating as well
How was the wait getting into the lounge? I would double check on this before 2 days out— the cancellation penalties are clearly stated and quite draconian.@roxy72 i dont think so, i have done it before pre the closing and never had trouble
