Mexican Riviera Cruise with WONDERful Souvenir in the Works! 6/7 PTR Link!

My family visited Universal Studios-Hollywood after our MR Wonder Cruise when I chanced upon this store and took a picture. Hope this picture cheers you up knowing you've an idea on where to shop for toys for your coming bundle of joy. Or I might be mistaken and you actually own this store.

Your TR has helped us a lot in making our MR cruise a joyful one.
Thanks.

Your tr is wonderful. You guys are a beautiful couple and congrats on your pregnancy. We are going on our first Disney cruise and are taking our 19 month old baby. For the record, you do not look like an alcoholic, its vacation! Because were responsible for another human, the only drinks ill have will be one at dinner. I'll share my experience on cruising with a toddler, i'm sure you won't waste time Disney cruising with the baby.

Aww yeah Boo on getting the Disembarking info. Your food pics are so yummy looking:goodvibes I can't wait for my cruise to sample some of the goodies you've written about..that Disney Cruise Line breakfast trio has my name on it. I don't remember seeing that on the Dream.it looks and sounds delish.
Hope you're feeling better..the first trimester is the pits for many women. I personally never puked, but couldn't stand the smell of coffee (which I LOVE) and several other foods that I ordinarily love...so I had to steer clear.

Alicia,
Can I somehow get copies of your scans of the Navigators? I tried to save them from your TR, but they are half the height and not really readable! I'm trying to figure out what there would be to do each day, in case we go on the cruise next Fall. I'm sort of counting on that we can go and wanting to figure out activities.

I just got a program today that converts *.jpegs to *.pdfs so I could make a whole document full of navigators! :thumbsup2

Juareaa, We were on this cruise with our 12 month old and had such a good time that we booked another one for when she's 21 months old later this year. It was the best vacation we could imagine with a baby!

Hi

Just wanted to say congratulations on the news of your bump! Your trip reports are wonderful and so insightful. I'll be going on our first Disney cruise in September!!

Hope you're feeling better soon x

I hope you are feeling better! That's no fun when you have food aversions. I couldn't eat leftovers they would gross me out. I had to have fresh food. Just keep resting up. I know its early, but I am going to say its a girl ;) based off of not feeling so great.

I am so relieved to hear this! We went on our first cruise without the kiddos and this time we are taking DS 7 and DS (will be 2yr 5mths) I am pretty nervous how he will handle it. I am glad to hear someone else said it was good :)

Hi! I hope you're feeling well. Yes, the second trimester is usually when you feel the best...you stop feeling sick, you have a hearty appetite, you have your energy back, and you're not that big yet so moving around is still relatively easy. But of course everyone is different...some women have big appetites the whole time, some don't, some feel great and some don't. But everyone I have known says they had a lot more energy the second trimester than the first. Hang in there...soon enough! ;)

I enjoyed reading your cruise review! I'm trying to look into the future and picture your trip reports when you go with a little one! :goodvibes

I've been feeling MUCH better the past few days! I actually gained about 1 pound from the 10 that i've lost, so hopefully that's a good sign. I've been eating small amounts of food, but it's better than nothing. Tomorrow is our appointment and i'm a bit nervous.

I'd love to hear how your trip goes with your 19 month old! DH is now wanting to wait to take our baby until they're old enough to have the 'free' daycare services...what a cheapskate! :lmao:

Geez, it seems like your trip is coming up super fast! I remember seeing your ticker at 9 months (or was it 11? can't remember!)

I actually puked once on at around 8pm at night. It came up really quick too and I haven't gotten sick again.

Absolutely. Not sure if you want me to email them to you and I can email them to you by pdf (if you can't open jpeg) if that's what you'd like! Maybe I can email you one page to see if it works?? Let me know!

Thank you for the kind words! You're going to have an amazing time on your cruise! Enjoy!

The past 4 days, i've been feeling REALLY good. Like, almost to the point where i'm nervous if there's still a baby. Because i've been able to eat and am feeling almost no nausea or morning sickness at all. My appointment is tomorrow so i'm anxious and nervous to see how it goes.

Hi! It's understandable to be nervous for your appointment, but in time you will become less nervous with each one, and more and more excited as the baby grows! I remember being nervous in the beginning too, but then after a couple of times, I looked forward to each and every appointment with less of that nervous feeling and more of a feeling of joy and excitement. :goodvibes

Glad you are feeling better. It's great when the sick feeling subsides and you feel like yourself again. Eating small meals is good for you. Don't worry too much about the weight loss. The baby will still grow. As long as you stay hydrated and consume what you can handle, even if it is in little bits throughout the day, the baby and you are fine. The baby takes everything he/she needs from the mother to grow...the prenatal vitamins are more for you to keep up your strength and what you need to stay healthy. My doctor had explained this to me at the beginning of my first pregnancy when I was worried and wanted to make sure I was eating balanced and eating enough (because I'm perpetually on a diet, and knew I couldn't do this while pregnant of course).

I'm glad that you are feeling better. Good luck at your apointment tomorrow!

I think it's the best place you can go on vacation with babies and toddlers! Even the serving staff entertain them! Everyone is so nice and will totally spoil your DS! People at guest services even gave our DD free disney plush toys a couple of times just when they saw us wandering around the lobby once at night and once when I was just holding her and went to guest services to ask a general question!

Leshaface- tell your DH that the nursery is only $5-6 an hour AND they're the only nursery on a cruise ship that takes babies from 12 weeks AND changes diapers and feeds them while you're away! Cheapest and best babysitters ever! I know some parents were complaining about the regular kids club because the secure programming isn't all day anymore but it is at the nursery!

This is exactly what my doctor told me yesterday and was worried about that. Will be giving an update right now about the appt!

I'm glad that you are feeling better. Good luck at your apointment tomorrow!

Thanks Alison! working on your pages right now too.

Thank you for this! I'll definitely let him know this and i'm pretty sure he'll change his mind. I mean we're not going to be spending HUNDREDS of dollars on this service and I think that's what he thinks is going to happen.

Hi Lesha,

Hope the appointment went well and you're still feeling okay :goodvibes

Hi Monica thank you for your comment. I'm feeling really good now and will update right now about the appointment.

Hi everyone! Real quick update about our Dr. appointment yesterday afternoon before I leave with my husband on a business trip (with no internet access at the hotel...sucks!).

The appointment was long. Got there at 1pm and didn't leave until almost 3pm. I'm assuming this is how it will be for all my appt's from now on. I needed to give a blood and urine sample first, THEN we were able to finally meet our doctor. I've heard great things about her from everyone and she's great! Young, experienced and very funny. We talked about some concerns (my weight loss - 8 pounds) and she was a tiny bit concerned and told her I had just started eating again on Saturday with no issues, so she was really happy with that. I was also concerned about the conception. I was extremely sick when I was ovulating. I high temp of about 102 for 3 days but we were still trying during that time so I was worried if something could happen to the baby at time of conception. She said nope, everything's fine. It would be getting that kind of fever right now, at 8 or 9 weeks, when we would be concerned. I'll be writing more about other information on my blog, since this update needs to be quick. But here is the bean!

Very excited to see the little fluttering heartbeat on the screen. It seemed so fake but real at the same time.

Anyways, I need to get going, but I'll be giving my last update on this TR when I return.

Alison - I'll be working on your pages too!

YAY!! Seeing your baby and hearing the heartbeat for the first time is so AMAZING. It is so hard to believe that he/she is inside of you. Glad your appointment went well. My friend lost so much weight when she was pregnant in the beginning. I think she only gained 12 pounds altogether and she gave birth to a very healthy babygirl. My doctor had told me once that the baby gets everything they need from you so if you don't eat for a week (not that anyone plans to do that or she recommends that) the baby will be ok because it gets everything from you. It is good you are able to eat again with no problem.

Hi Lesha! Thanks for sharing your scan picture... so excited for you :goodvibes hope you have a great weekend and are feeling well.

I loved reading your trip report. We were on the Wonder to the MR exactly a year ago. We had a blast and your report is making me even more excited for our upcoming cruise this April.

Congrats on the new addition to your family!
