Okay, so I'm really late to this party, but, I've spent alot of time in other sections of this site. Outside looking in, you all seem to be friends, I guess this is the new version of pen pal.

If I figured things correctly, we will be there at the same time. I like the idea of meeting other "dissers"?? but, I have no idea how you identify each other. I did read your TR from last year but, I can't figure out the abbrevations and, as for 'limey' I thought you were from England, not CA.

We've all become friends through the DIS and actually have a DIS meet set up for Aug. 25th. If your at Disney at the same, please come join us for a drink at the Tambu Lounge @ the Poly at 8:30p.
Oh, limey is just a DISer nickname. Since lime is our "official" color, we are limeys. P.S. I'm not propah enough to pull off being English!

Ok, so here's the thing.... we're at 27 days and I'm beginning to feel it. I can't shake the excitement, despite of all the drama floating around me. The butterflies are running rampant in my tummy and I've been having WDW dreams already. Last night I dreamt we were in WDW and I forgot my clothes list. I didn't know what I was supposed to be wearing on our first day and I didn't know what park we were supposed to be at! I woke up in a cold sweat around 4am! I've got it bad.... this Disney Disease!

Tell me about it. Remember I said I can't concentrate at work? I've got it reaaal bad to the point where I'm sneaking in some online shopping. I haven't had any dreams yet like you have at least none that I can remember. Well get through this, just hang on a litte longer!

My injured nephew Dewey, is healing nicely. He gets his stiches out today! Let's just hope he stays out of trouble. Well trouble that requires medical attention. Now Donald is another story. His finger isn't doing well. It still kinda hangs there. He can move it just a tiny bit, but it looks like surgery is inevitable. Now, the doctors would like to do both the finger and the knee at the same time. Donald's a little apprehensive about letting them work on the knee before we go. There can be a lot of complications with knee surgery and he's just not willing to take that chance 3+ weeks before heading out on vacay. You know what he's concerned the most about? His scuba dive at DiveQuest. He's worried he's going to have to cancel and he was so looking forward to this experience. In fact, when I told him about it, it was pretty much the deal sealer. It's all wait and see and that drives me up a wall.

You poor thing, uncertainty must be driving the obsessive planner in you absolutely nuts. I know when we weren't sure if my sister was going I was having a lot of sleepless nights.

So my little room project kept me busy for 2 whole days. What am I supposed to do with the next 27? My travel documents are in and my TA sent them via courier, but they won't be here until Friday. I do need to finish our itinerary folders, but I'm almost out of black ink and I'm not in the mood to hit Staples knowing all the school supplies are out in full force. School supplies are my vice. I loves me some new crayons, markers, pens ... all that stuff!

Well since you have so much time on your hands I should hire you to do my daily itinerary cards.

Last night I started to work on Andy's luggage, but we got side tracked by our street being invaded by Emergency personnel. Firetrucks, paramedics and an ambulance. Our neighbors father lives with her and he's like 95 and well, he's 95. He suffers from shortness of breath, heart problems... everything, bless his heart. Anyway, with the heat we've had, he was suffering from dehydration, so the medics came and took him to the hospital. My kids had to run out and say "good-bye" and "get well soon". I never made it back to the room to get Andy's stuff going, as we ended up talking to our neighbor for awhile.

Aw, poor little man. At least he's made it this far in life.

So did have you started packing Andy's stuff yet?

Wait, it gets better.... I've been noticing our pool is taking on a lovely shade of green. I figure it just needs a blast of chemicals and it should sparkle in a few hours, right? Wrong. Apparently our filter pump is going out and not filtering the water so the hoses are getting moldy and pushing green into the pool water. Evan's pool party is this Saturday! I call around to all the locate pool supply stores to find they're all sold out of what I need. I did find the replacement pump and hoses online, but even with overnight shipping, they won't make it until Monday! Yickes! What to do, what to do. : I turned off the pump last night, figuring it's not helping anyway, right? I thought about power washing the hoses and at least they won't be pumping green into the pool, right? I did that this morning and shocked the pool with chems. It flippin' worked! Whew! I still ordered the new pump, 'cause we've got at least another 2 months of heat. Crisis averted, thankfully!

Yeah, I think I heard on the news that it would be warm all the way through most of October this year. I hope so, I love hot weather.

Waldo and TE went out to oldest brothers house for the day, so I've got them outta my hair. Waldo is going to repaint my brothers bathroom for him. My brother is deaf and blind and his wife has her own issues and they just can't manage to do it themselves. Don't get me started on that situation. So they have my 73 year old Dad doing it for them. Whatevah!

Sometimes men that age like doing stuff like that, makes them feel needed. I have an uncle who's in his seventies and still has his painting business although when I hired him to repaint my living room there were quite a few missed spots due to his failing eyesight which he'd never admit, bless his little heart.

And my poor Passporter. It needs serious updating and a whole lotta white out. Why don't I learn never to fill it out until at least 3 weeks out? It's got at least 2 layers of white out already!

OMG, I know what you mean, I do that every time, start filling the thing out knowing full well I'm going to make changes. Mine is sitting on my nightstand gathing dust.

One last comment, I promise! My final installment to my CROC collection arrived yesterday. I'm now complete, I think. I ended up with Chocolate MJ's, light blue Athens, lime Athens, black Athens, and chocolate Athens. I think that should pretty much cover me.

Lol.. that happens to me every summer , so for the last 3 summers I have just been throwing the pools out and buying new ones .

I sooooo don't want to do that!

Now what do I do? My hubby and I are getting away for the weekend (no KIDS!! ) that I think will take my mind off things for a while! But when we get back.... the obsession will over take me again. HELP I'm a mess!

Yee-haw, a rambling update. Those can be the best. First, I want to say that I like the colors you chose for your room. I am trying to go with a tropical them in my. More like palm trees and bamboo but all I have is the bedding. I need to paint the walls and I am not a very good painter.

Can you guess what showed up on my doorstep last night at 8:00 pm??? Can ya, can ya????

I wasn't expecting all my docs until Friday, so you can imagine my surprise when Maddie came up to my room telling me "Momma, something came for you from the PPS truck!" Wholly moley!! I was so excited! I ran down and tore open the package to find 3 lovely travel pouches and a beautiful Travel Journal from my TA. Aw, man... how can I not use her again??? I went through everything and made sure it was all correct. For some reason the ME tags didn't say Polynesian. Oh well, they did say WDW and really, that's all that matters, right? Yeah, well I keep trying to convince myself that too.

Last night I decided on going through Andy's things to make sure he had enough vacation clothes. I got everything organized and completed his clothing spreadsheet. I got most of his stuff in his suitcase, and then it happened.........

His clothes all don't fit.

What's going on? They fit last year.

He reminded me that we only went for 1/2 the time and we only took 1/2 the amount of clothes. I didn't have the heart to tell him that perhaps my 8 pairs of shoes were taking up a bit too much room! Oh man! Do I really have to go out and get another suitcase? I decided just to put things away and I would deal with it later. Too many things going on this week. I was telling TE about it and she said that she thought she had an extra pilots case. Low and behold, she did! Whew! Another crisis averted!

As I was getting things organized, I found the TFW shirts I made for everyone. I gave Waldo and TE theirs and then Waldo asks me "Hey what day am I supposed to wear my "foaker" tee shirt?" You're what?? Your foaker tee shirt?!?! Andy and I just about died laughing! FOCKER, Waldo! It's FOCKER!! Not foaker!

So we've got everything together, we're locked and loaded...sooooo

Love the new room......and sorry about the fit throwing!! Kaia had a breakdown last night...so I am feeling ya!! Damian is gone for six weeks and she thinks he has left us forever!! She was sooo naughty yesterday and last night lost her ever-lovin' mind at bed time!!! I was in tears I was so frusterated...a mother's job is never done!!

The fall is great! Low, low crowds! I already have my unofficial official dates: Sept. 12 - Sept. 20. Hopefully free dining will be offered again!

I have to share this with you guys, 'cause only a fellow DISSSSSS-er would understand.
I ask my BIL which planning method he used... TGM, UG or another guide book. You know what he said? He told me he used the WDW website and based his itinerary on the EMH schedule. Whatever park had PM EMH's that's were they would go!

The EMH day was the worst day in terms of crowds ever!!! Fortunately we left midway thru the day!

Ok... but first I'm posting a picture of the wild child that has become my darling son. Terrible 2's has got nothing on the HORRIBLE 3's!! He's become such a fiesty crybaby! He's never had temper tantrums like this. I took his picture because he refused to put his PJ shorts on an flung them across the room. He ran around screaming "Don't take my pisher!!!" Here's birth control for ya!

Mind if I use this picture? Tony actually mentioned adoption last week!! FREAKED ME RIGHT OUT! Where did this come from? Have you not been present for the last 6 years??? And of course, wonderful, kind, loving soul-mate that I am lost my freaking mind about it...and he was like "yeah, I know, you're not motherly...not a nurturer..." Damn I hate when he uses the truth against me!!
So long as we're both clear on that though!!

Ok, so here's the new room color. I had to take it at night, otherwise you'd see a big ol' lump in the bed, otherwise known as Andy!

I still need some new candles (I don't like the old ones on the little shelf) and a nice painting or something for the wall I'm standing near. I thought maybe we'd take some really great family photos in Disney and have them developed in black and white and frame them in black.

Love the picture!! Ahhh...candles...LOVE THEM...are you addicted to Partylite like I am? It's a sickness...

We were just at Lowes AND Home Cheapo picking out paint colors - I want to repaint our master bathroom and I'd like to do it over with kind of a spa feel...really relaxing, KWIM? Maybe THEN I'll use that big old jacuzzi tub that I haven't even sat in since we've moved here!

Our crappy pool is doing the same thing...it's driving Tony crazy. Even shocking it isn't working. It's a real hazy light green and he can't figure it out...You should see him out there...rigging the vacuum and the filter, swearing....it's like watching Clark Griswold hang Christmas lights!

Can you guess what showed up on my doorstep last night at 8:00 pm??? Can ya, can ya????

I wasn't expecting all my docs until Friday, so you can imagine my surprise when Maddie came up to my room telling me "Momma, something came for you from the PPS truck!" Wholly moley!! I was so excited! I ran down and tore open the package to find 3 lovely travel pouches and a beautiful Travel Journal from my TA. Aw, man... how can I not use her again??? I went through everything and made sure it was all correct.

YAY - FINALLY they're HERE!!!

For some reason the ME tags didn't say Polynesian. Oh well, they did say WDW and really, that's all that matters, right? Yeah, well I keep trying to convince myself that too.

Could that be cause you're not actually staying at the Poly??

Or did you change resorts and I missed it?? Mine say SSR on them...but I'm staying there...unless I change resorts....it has been a whole 5 days since I've called Member Services...they must be missin' me right about now...

Last night I decided on going through Andy's things to make sure he had enough vacation clothes. I got everything organized and completed his clothing spreadsheet. I got most of his stuff in his suitcase, and then it happened.........

His clothes all don't fit.

What's going on? They fit last year.

ARGH...you're kidding! You know, this has become somewhat of a sport in our house...Tony won't try anything on until the very last possible minute (probably to drive me crazy) only to find that half his stuff doesn't fit anymore...We actually ARGUE about him trying on his clothes.

He reminded me that we only went for 1/2 the time and we only took 1/2 the amount of clothes. I didn't have the heart to tell him that perhaps my 8 pairs of shoes were taking up a bit too much room! Oh man! Do I really have to go out and get another suitcase? I decided just to put things away and I would deal with it later. Too many things going on this week. I was telling TE about it and she said that she thought she had an extra pilots case. Low and behold, she did! Whew! Another crisis averted!

I've got a separate suitcase for shoes...a small one, but still...I'm there for ya girl... Hmmm...wonder if I could fit just ONE MORE pair of flip flops in my makeup box...

As I was getting things organized, I found the TFW shirts I made for everyone. I gave Waldo and TE theirs and then Waldo asks me "Hey what day am I supposed to wear my "foaker" tee shirt?" You're what?? Your foaker tee shirt?!?! Andy and I just about died laughing! FOCKER, Waldo! It's FOCKER!! Not foaker!

I can't wait to meet Waldo...I'm gonna give him such a squeeze...too funny!!
