That's a great, DM! Thanks! Last time, I think I used a mini suitcase for diapers, wipes, various disposable baby stuff and then on the way home I had an empty suitcase for all the crap we bought!
I am packing an empty duffel bag just in case I need more room on the way home.
Yay, Janet!!! The excitement is just buzzing in the air around here!
Ok, I'll spill.....
Where are your docs??? I'd be in a panic, especially traveling overseas and all!
Ok, so let me tell you the story:
When we moved to this house, I redid all the bedrooms. I did Maddie's in Tinkerbell, and Evan's was nursery animals. I kinda just took over and redid them how I wanted to without clueing Andy in. So when I started our room, I wanted like a Moroccan theme, sheer curtains, lots of candles, beautiful fabrics, etc. Well, Andy got mad that I didn't consult him. Can't help it, I was 5 months pregnant and the whole "nesting" thing got the best of me!

So, I let him choose the room color to shut him up. Well, that was a mistake of epic porportions! He chose a color called Sunset... something or another... I can't remember.

It was nice on the sample card, but when we painted the room it was the exact color of pumpkin pie.

He refused to change it, so I've lived with it for 3 years.
Well, last week JCPenney had a HUGE sale on bedroom linens. Sooooooo, I bought a new comforter and new shams, the works. Hey, I got a wicked deal! That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

The color you ask.... well actually it's green. No, sillies! Not lime

but more of an Herb green, not really a Kelly green nor a moss green nor a sage with black and white accents. Anyway, it's pretty, I think. I'll try to find a pic. So, said new bedding does not in anyway, shape or form match the pumpkin walls, thankfully.

So, I mosied over to our local HD and bought some new paint. It's called "cookie", and looks the shade of a butter cookie, go figure!

My room looks totally different! So fresh and bright, I love it!
So that is the story of why I am painting my room - aren't you glad you asked?
