ME and partcipating airlines check in

i will be taking ME from GF on tues morning 4/10...my flight is scheduled to leave MCO at 11am...i assume my pick up time will be around 8am...i am flying jetblue so i can check into my flight at GF...i know that this must be done at least 3 hours prior....do you suggest that i go down around 7am and get my bags checked and my boarding passes?

also i am traveling w/ a 16 year old...does she need to be present when i am checking her into the flight or can she wait upstairs in the room?

Yes, you should get downstairs 3 hrs before the flight departure time...I would get there about 6:30ish, just in case there is a line. Don't risk cutting it too close.
Also, your dd does have to be present. This is the same thing as going to the checkin counter at the airport, where you have to show your ID's and such. We have always had to have everyone present, with ID's in hand.
