I think we'll start at least seeing some GTY assignments (and upgrades!) soon. Really hoping for lots of pixie dust for our cruisers!

We have just printed our door magnets, they look fab!

Make sure you put the paper in the right way and that it fits properly, so do a test run first.

Ours look fab but they would have looked better if I had brought gloss paper magnets. I didn't realise when I brought them, they were the only ones I could find on ebay from a UK seller.

Yeah, test it on regular paper before trying it on magnetic paper. And figure out what side goes up and what side goes down before trying it on magnetic paper. Those are just totally off the top of my head, but I can...um...imagine...that someone might find helpful.

They will still look great hun, so I wouldn't worry too much.

My kids have both got Mickey heads on their magnets and they will need cutting . That is where it could all go wrong, think I will get DH to do that bit so I can blame him if he goes over the lines

Well now the magnets are done I should start the FE gifts. I know what I am doing but some bits are quite crafty so will need to get a move on and start them. Everything seems to be starting to come together now, I am getting quite excited

Luckily I can start doing my gifts without the final numbers but it would be good to know numbers sooner rather than later. I wonder if any more people will join, I think it is a great idea and the kids are so excited by it all.

This time in 2 months we will be onboard, can't wait

Totally! Same thing happened to me last night - signed up to have them call me immediately and they did. But as soon as I pressed #1, dead silence for 10 minutes. My poor son - he was wondering what was going on and we ended up playing "conference call" since I was on another phone trying to listen in. I'm going to call and complain.

We were able to get Goofy to call my son and he loved it. Maybe they are having some computer issues and it will work again later. I'm not a big fan of Disney's websites.

We booked in Jan here in the UK, but only just got our notification and only just found this website. Great advise being offered. You may find there are loads of us from the UK coming, but our information has not been very forthcoming, not disney's fault. We have booked via a third party. We have no idea what room we have, it was either inside, outside with window or outside with verandah depending on what you could afford. Only after that do I find out there are loads of CATs!. We booked off the cuff as we were offered kids for free. Anyway there will be me (Steve), my wife, and our 2 children, our son 2 and daughter 4, so look forward to meeting some of you all and look forward to reading more tips.

I haven't even tried the character call because I didn't think they would call outside of the states.

Welcome new cruisers! I hope we do end up with many british cruisers. We lived in the UK for 3 years and there is much I miss. I'm also looking forward to vacationing with other Americans and being on a Disney ship....a taste of America, as I am homesick.

We booked in December and I think we probably booked through the same third party as you. The information we have been given is pants! But my god have I learnt a lot on here. There is so much information on here

We are hoping to get our upgrades within about a week, we are all checking daily to see if we have been upgraded yet

I too had the character call, pressed 1 and then it starting beeping after a minute of silence and went dead. I called them, but no answer. I emailed them and they told me to try a different phone number, but I can't since we live overseas and use Vonage. I ended up doing the mickey voice myself lol.
