Great! So they already replied and it looks like it's available. The price is 179 euros. I put in the time for 9am. I forget when the cruise actually lets you out..... maybe that's too early but I figured the earlier we leave, we can pick up some stragglers and divert the overall cost.

Fantastic. I'm not sure what time we get back at but people were saying it is a mad rush to get off if you want to get off early. Maybe wait an extra hour or so. I think it is only about 13km or so to the airport so shouldn't take too long

Did they say how many the bus can hold?

I see from the 4/24 Med cruise that the GTY people are getting their cabin assignments. Looks like some upgrades happening, mostly within the usual 3 category bump-up. Hoping for some pixie dust for everyone on our cruise! I'm actually quite happy with our cabin, hopefully all nice and quiet under the spa, but if they want to upgrade us to a suite, I guess I wouldn't mind, lol.

I would love to get upgraded. I thought we would have to be upgraded from cat 12 as there will be 4 of us in our room. But to be upgraded more would be fab. Does anyone know when we will be likely to get our rooms assigned to us yet?

Okay, so I asked for 10am pickup. DCL recommends to give 4 hours for departure. I didn't ask how many it can hold. I just put in 20 passengers.

Fantastic Definitely count us in your figures. There will be 12 of us. I'm sure a full size bus would probably hold more like 40 or 50, so if we can get a few more takers the price will come down as well

I would go in too, but my plane leaves at 12:30..10am is way too late for me. I think the boat gets in at like 7am or so..will just take a cab..25-30 euros from port to airport.

25 euros seems cheap. Have you got some quotes already?

Our flight leaves at 11:00, so we will be catching a cab as early as possible as well. The quotes I have seen for the cab were around 30 euros as well.

That doesn't sound so bad then. I got quoted 110 euros for 12 of us which I find extortionate considering half of them are little kids!

11am flight, you will be making a mad dash for the airport!

I have a great historical fiction book set on Malta and the Ottomann empire if anyone is interested. It is called "Ironfire" by David Ball. I can't put it down. Fun to read about sites we'll be going to.

We are using our DVC points for this cruse and just were told we would be refunded points back. This amounted to almost 20% savings for us...
Any other DVC members get the same??? My son and his wife also got points back..DVC just made a great cruse even better!!!!!!!

Wow so many people are flying home so early. We booked for 2pm back to the UK because we thought going before that would be cutting it close. Shows what I know hey

I've been having loads of fun thinking about the FE gifts. I think I have finally decided what to get everyone. Obviously I am not going to post on here what I am thinking but hopefully everyone will be impressed I am struggling with the actual extender though. I know how I want to do it but need some shorts like Mickey mouses. I have looked everywhere I can think of but can't find any Never mind I will keep looking.

Things are slowly starting to pile up on my dining table...It takes me about a month or so to pack, lol.

We actually leave April 24th for Paris (well, Disneyland Paris!). So, not too far away! Certainly not too early to break out the suitcases...
