Hi guys, i just recently joined the FB group and dont believe ive posted here yet, but wanted to give an update for someone who was asking about tastings based on previous experience. Disney does have to be contacted in order to reserve a date, and the minimum amount of people to get a private one was 15. We provided our names and staterooms to the organizer and then while on ship we received our invites delivered to our stateroom. It was 20 dollars a person. They did it in diversions and i think they combined groups because there werent a ton of people but more people there than just our group. We did a mixology and it was abs. fabulous!!

Brixton, i know your not on FB but there are several people inquiring about the FE group. I read in a previous post you were planning a final list on April 2nd, i personally dont think that is enough time as many people like to do personalized gifts and get prepared. Even with a draft being established ahead of time, we are not going to know our "final" staterooms and kids/adults, and i would recommend maybe 2 months out, to better prepare. Thank you for organizing for everyone

As I wrote in December: I'll be sure to get a rough google doc to everyone after the holidays (this week) so everyone can start to plan.

Our cruise is now available for GT, so I imagine the FE group will fill quickly

Welcome! I'm sorry I can't help with your request, because I think we'll fly into Ft Lauderdale, take a free shuttle to a hotel there and then use SAS shuttle to go to the port.

Welcome aboard. My wife and I will be staying at La Quinta Miami Airport East.It has both a shuttle from the airport and to the ship. We stayed there last year and the hotel is very nice with a good breakfast. The only problem is the Bennigan's in walking distance is the worst restaurant I remember ever eating at. We need to go to drop off our rental by the airport so we will eat there before taking the shuttle back to the hotel. I guess I'm getting excited.

By any chance, is this Bennigan's to the left of Red Roof Inn (when facing the Red Roof Inn)? On Lejune Rd?

If yes, I agree. It was the worst restaurant I have eaten at in a very long time. Yes, we will avoid these places! Airport food, yes!

Ah! I just looked it up! I didn't think it was a Bennigan's that we ate at last month. Bennigan's closed down
and an equally AWFUL restaurant replaced it! Mystery solved!

It's a great deal if you already have that category, you might even be able to upgrade to that from an inside for less depending on when you booked.

We did a *GT rate once for the Pacific Coast Pixar Cruise, you really can't beat it.
