Hello, myself and another lovely lady from the FB group have stepped up to help organize the FE. I've made a google document/form to help keep things organized easily, and to allow everyone to input their information to a central, living document.

There you go! It's pretty easy, has lots of spaces for extra adults and kids, and a few questions about preferences or Castaway Club level (at the request of a FE member as it relates to her gifts).

If it gets unwieldy and enormous, I will split it up into groups to keep it manageable.

I would also like to lock the main list about a month or so out from sailing so that everyone has ample time to get their gifts in order. If there is interest after that time, I will make a separate group for the last minute additions.

Seem fair to everyone?

Is there any family or person who wants to go in with us, 2 adults, to rent a private van in Puerto Vallarta for 4 hours? Port excursions that I have read involve walking on cobblestones, stairs, things I would rather avoid.

I'd like to consider limiting group size. Groups of 20 perhaps? 20 staterooms that is. Otherwise the groups and amount of stuff one must haul gets unwieldy.

I am a newbie when it comes to private vans. I am going by the Disney shore excursion site, it says $365 and up. So, later this week, when "Gold" can book, I will book one. There's a form to fill out according to what I read, but I have not looked at the questions asked. I just got the idea of a van while in the car yesterday.

We booked 2 cabins last year and our final payment date is 2/16. Dennis put some money on one of the cabins last evening. At 0125 I received an email stating that our final payment for that cabin was 1/2 and that we had to pay in full today or loose the cabin. The other cabin still says the pay in full is 2/16.


Be careful!!

I agree wholeheartedly. I will definitely make sure it is manageable for everyone. Around 20 rooms is a good number, so I will try to cut groups off with that in mind.

I've updated the first post with the new link to the FE group. I also added a link to a similar form to let me know who's interested in what tastings. I know there are minimum attendance numbers for it to be private so I just want to get a feel for what everyone wants to do and what I should plan.

I'm actually keeping the room to see what DCL does about payment. I know that I'm potentially playing with fire but I'm curious what are they doing?

I hear you. I have the Key Lime bike tour reserved but it maybe to early for me but I really think I want to take that tour. If I decide it is too early I will cancel.

We're on that tour, too. Last time we were in Key West courtesy of Disney we weren't there long enough to take the tour - it wasn't offered. Did enjoy a breakfast out on the island, though. Nothing is too early for us!
