May 2, 2014 - A WONDERous trip through the Locks WBPC

Sorry Beagle, can't help.

Just got our Palo brunch reservation! Let the games begin!

Just booked an ogt for May 24 yr old daughter and myself. First time disney cruisers.
Can you please explain fish extenders, what kinds of things do you bring for it?

Hey, I just saw you on Cruise Critic!.

Hi Everyone!
I just looked and I can book today however I have a question that I'm hoping one of you can answer so I don't have to call my travel agent. I am trying to book a tour at Cartagena and Cozumel, they both show that 0-2 is free, however my son's name is greyed out. If I do select those will he be allowed to come? I don't want to leave him in the Nursery so I don't want to commit to those tours until I know I can bring him.

Thanks!
:goodvibes

Dang it! The Camel Adventure is sold out!!!

Anyone recommend a particular dolphin training thing for kids? The boys will be 8, so I don't really want them in the one that I think is ages 4-8/9. But I am open to suggestions!

Booked Palo brunch and dinner on different casual sea days. I prefer it that way to keep us busy at sea and also to make sure we don't miss any formal/semi/pirate nights!

To clarify, we booked both the Cozumel and PV Dolphin Swims. Anyone know if one or the other is better?

Welcome home, I hope you had a good cruise and we are looking forward to seeing you and Tom soon.

welcome back Bobbi. What ship was your cruise on?

We were on Independence of the Seas. It was 6 nights, Day at sea, Grand Cayman, Jamaica, Private island, day at sea, back.

We had great weather, calm seas, great snorkeling in Grand Cayman, not so great snorkeling in Labadee, and we really enjoyed the ice show and some other entertainment. I read 3 books and saw flying fish and dolphins from our balcony.

Now to get home and decide what things need to be thrown out and what can stay with us for the next phase of our lives!

Thanks for the welcome back! 6 days with no Internet, and I survived!:rotfl:

Welcome home, I hope you had a good cruise and we are looking forward to seeing you and Tom soon.

As we left the ship, we were in line in front of others who lived in Solivita! Tom has her card, I do not remember their names, but they know you!:goodvibes She began the Disney fan club! I think she described herself as an independent travel agent.

Does anyone know for the Cabo San Lucas Port Adventure which resort the Cabo Resort Beach Getaway (CL45) goes to? Any feedback or experience with this tour? A reminder, we are two adults and two toddlers (4&5), so not many options seemingly available at this port and we have never visited here before. All ideas welcome!

We did this last year and really enjoyed it - our twins were almost 4 at the time. I will look up the name of the resort in the next couple of days and get back to you it no one else beats me to it.

I short - the pool was fabulous (plenty of shallow areas for younger kids) and the food was absolutely delicious. There was a splash pad area for toddlers. They had pool noodles and inflatable rafts and tubes for use in the pools. Plus, I've never seen a cleaner resort with more friendly employees.

The beach was the downside. The sand was volcano hot and the surf too rough for most adults, let alone small kids.

We didn't feel deprived sticking with the pool and resort areas, tho. We would be happy to spend a week long vacation at that resort in fact.

It sounds like a great vacation! I hope to one day we dolphins. But we have seen flying fish. :yay:

Yes! 3 months!

PS please pardon my grammar on my previous post. I think my tablet took some liberties there!

We booked this cruise at lunchtime today. We managed to get an airline staff rate that was too good to pass up. I had originally placed a courtesy hold on an inside cabin two weeks ago, but could not get any flights at a price we were willing to pay. Unfortunately the airline I work for only flies to the USA from Dubai and that seems a little extreme from the UK. This morning my husband found an amazing airfare with American from Manchester to Miami and back from San Diego with one stop in both directions. So he jumped on this before it disappeared and we now booked an ocean view cabin. I am really excited to join you on this cruise. I see some familiar names from the WBTA 2010, the Panama Canal cruise in 2011 and the first Hawaii cruise in 2012.

We are Corinna and Graham and live in Manchester in the UK. This is our 13th Disney cruise and our second Panama Canal cruise. I will celebrate my 40th birthday later in the year and as both the Panama canal and I are celebrating a special birthday this year, this just had to be done. We were on the first Panama Canal cruise for the Wonder in 2011 and even though we had a wonderful time, this was a comedy of errors as the Wonder at that point had only ever done two cruises that were longer than 4 nights. So in a way this is a do over. Now I have to find hotels in Miami and San Diego and do my online check in. I am going to be busy for a day or two to sort everything out.

Great! Welcome!

This is our first time on a Disney Cruise, so we're very excited! We just paid for a OGT room, so we still don't have a room number. I was wondering when is the latest we can fill out the google doc form to be part of the FE group?

Thanks and looking forward to your reply,

Welcome! You wont need to know your room number to do FE, just put TBD. A lot of us are in the same boat. They are doing groups of 20, the first group is already filled, and the second group i think has 14 or so particpants, if you sign up later she will start you in a new group and if there isnt a ton of people in that one she will add you to one of the other groups :) Hope that helps!
