May 18, 2013 Magic EBTA Part Two - From Tejas to España

Me too!! We have a very good group.:)
Totally agree! :thumbsup2

We're excited, but our grandson (8) is absolutely over the moon. He makes friends easily and wants to meet people from all over the US and around the world. A couple of months ago, our Egyptian waiter and Bryan had quite a conversation. Travel truly broadens our perspective on everything, doesn't it.
::yes::

I heard back from my TA :cheer2:

Kirsten,

You are correct, it is a tax adjustment. For some reason that refund was 'stuck' in the Disney accounting system. We 'unstuck' it for you and it's on the way! You should expect that refund within the next two weeks back to the card ending in XXXX.

John

So glad I have you all to let me know when I've got something missing! Thank you. No clue how much it will be, but I'm excited to have a credit from Disney instead of a debit :rotfl:

Glad you got it sorted :)

Is there anything special I need to check in with online? Do they want passport numbers again? A card for onboard spending? Blood?

Going to be getting up at 5am my time/midnight on the east coast to make sure we can (hopefully) get what we want!

Tink If there is anything specific you want me to check on just now, send me a pm :thumbsup2

Hi All,

I've just found this thread and wow what a lot of information!

Thought I'd just do a quick post to introduce myself before I head back to the first page and see what I can sign up for!

We are heading over from the UK just to take the cruise back to Europe! Our party is myself, my wife, and 2 daughters (14 & 6). This is our 4th Disney Cruise (2 Europe & 1 Alaksa) and we have managed to get a balcony for the first time!

To All Palo Group Brunch Participants:
Next week, I will be sending our request in to DCL. I'm waiting until everyone gets the chance to do their online bookings, in case there are any changes. Right now we have two full groups of 14 with one person waitlisted.

Those who are already signed up please PM me your full names and reservation numbers by March 5, 2013.

Quick reminder: If you are already booked for an individual Palo Brunch it will be canceled once DCL confirms our group brunches. IMO, with our large number of sea days there shouldn't be an issue with obtaining another reservation on board. :)

Hey neighbour - we're also from your neck of the woods (near Alfreton). Welcome aboard!

We had to add Passport details as well as credit card for on board spends, and it can be one per person if you want. We didn't need ESTA details which is good as we' leaving it until nearer the time. Hope you get what you want.

Welcome, Steven!! Yes -- we are trying to keep everything updated on the first page (or link from first page). I also have a 6 year old daughter! And have family from Haverhill, UK. (My grandfather met my grandmother during WWII -- she was from the UK and he was a US serviceman.)

We are also keeping a list of pre-cruise hotels here -- want me to add you? We also have a group rate for Tremont if you have yet to book.

It's all about the quality not the quantity with this group :cool1:
Very true. I'm quite high quality :rolleyes1

I'm disappointed that there wasn't more interest - I've kept all my "special" lanyards from previous cruises - they are wonderful reminders of the spectacular times we shared. Ah well -

Took our WBTA lanyard on the Magic this past November. :thumbsup2 I knew we would need one more lanyard in our group of first-timers, so that helped out. Brought back great memories. :)

Yum, yes please for the soufflé recipe. I am also taking this that I should add you to my list for the Recipe Exchange? Can you PM me with your info, please:) There is a post on the first page that has all the stuff I want :goodvibes Thanks Ryan!

Sent ya a PM! :)

Isn't it amazing what kids absorb?!? Our 6 year old has always traveled with us (and now our 2 year old) and some people just don't understand why we let them travel with us. Well, okay, in March we are going to Costa Rica without the kids, but it's our tenth wedding anniversary. And we left them at home for hubby's 40th birthday trip to Food & Wine Festival at Epcot. But every other trip they have been with us. I love hearing my oldest talk about her memories of the trips - and she knows so much! The very best way to learn and bond as a family.

Sent my PM. Thank you again for organizing this! We loved our group brunch on WBTA - very thankful we did it. A wonderful way to meet others!

In September on the Fantasy, they were still providing the H2O Sea Salt Body Wash in concierge. Same packaging as years before. In Jan/Feb 2011 when we sailed on the Dream the suites had Elemis products, not the usual H2O.
EEEWWWW - well good thing we are not sailing at that level. I can't get near that product line. They use Juniper and I am deadly allergic to it...have issues in the spa every time!
