Well, I just pulled my suitcase out of the closet and got my bathing suits out. Does that count as packing? I know what I'm going to pack, but I'm a "last minute" packer. It keeps me busy the night before I leave when I'm "too excited to sleep"!

I have so many projects that I have to finish before I can leave, and FINALLY there's too little time left to do them. I did remember to buy a new camera since my old one doesn't work any more, and I did finish the afghan that had to be completed by tomorrow (finished early this morning), so now I can start to think about the fact that two weeks from today I will arrive in Florida!

Hi everyone,

It looks like I've missed the boat (hehe) for the fish extenders, but if you'll add me to the PM list, I'd be more than happy to get some things for those who have made the list.

I'm thinking about buying extenders for our family, anyway, so that our kids might get something from the crew (as well as from me).


Originally this trip was going to be for my wife and me (10th anniversary, though a bit late), my sister and her husband, and our parents, but we just couldn't go without the kids. All-in-all, there will be nine of us.


Hopefully I'll get to see some of you on the trip, and I wish everyone a great time!

I have started putting the clothing that we will not wear for the next 2 weeks in a chair in my bedroom. Does that count as packing?

I'm still working on my gifts for the FE's. I think my FE is coming this week, can't wait to see it.

I will be start getting organized this week. I've got my list of to dos and will start working on them. It seems like too many days before we leave but not enough days to get everything done

DS has been asking everything if we are going on the Mickey boat.

I wish we could add you to FE list, but I don't want to upset anyone after they have already done their planning and shopping for the number of staterooms involved. But at least with 9 people in your party, you can probably have your very own FE exchange within your family

Received our documents last week. Unfortunately I have been feeling horrible with this pregnancy and haven't been motivated enough to pack or organize for something other then the fish ext. (because that is more fun).
Anyway, looking forward to going and hope everyone is at least mentally ready to go!

Hi everyone and Welcome to Tanya!

I happend to be out in Jetty Park today were you can see Magic and Wonder once they set sail. Did not even realize what time it was tell I heard the horn of the magic play when you wish upon a star I got so excited... I wish I had my camera with me so I could have recorded it.

A dear friend of mine just came back from the Wonder on Thursday and she said she had a ball some great pictures.

I have been looking into the photo packages any thoughts on them. Since I have not sailed on DCL for such a long time just wondering if it's a good deal. When we sailed on Carnival 2 yrs ago they did not have any thing like that.

Oh and does anyone know how current the movies really are my DD want's to see monsters and Hanna Montana but if there is a chance she can see it on the ship much better for me. She has so much going on right now seeing movies just does not seem in the cards prior to the cruise.

That is very kind of you. If you still want to do drop offs for the current FE list, you can meet us aboard at 2:00 by Pluto's Doghouse. The stateroom #'s should be finalized by then.
I was also thinking that even though we closed the FE participant list, it couldn't hurt to post your stateroom #'s in case anyone has any extra goodies that they have and want to drop by for the kids in your party.

While Grandma Bear and I aren't part of the exchange (just two old grandmas traveling light) I hope to get a chance to meet you all on board. If I can, I'll stop by and say hello when you have your meet. If I miss you, you'll recognize us. Grandma Bear takes "TB" (her bear) EVERYWHERE. TB has an outfit for Pirate Night, but I don't! She's a teddy bear artist, and designs and makes bears. I didn't even know such people existed until I met her.

Tonight is the night that I plan to start my packing. I really need to get myself organized because I'm going away this weekend and won't have any time at all then!

Thanks for letting us join in on the fun. No expectations from us, of course, but just in case, here are the details:

Stateroom 6092 - My son (4)
Stateroom 6108 - My sister's sons (8)(6)

I wasn't sure if we were supposed to share names on this thread, or not, or whether that would get sorted out at the meet-up. For those of you who do happen to have extras, and stop by our part of the boat, know that my daughter is listed on our (6092) FE, but she is hanging out with grandma during this trip.

Should I assume that the headcount is correct a few pages ago? I'm trying to figure out how many goodies I should buy, but I'm not sure if I should go off that list, or not. If not, can someone post how many folks I should be buying for?
