Hi,
I just found this site and I will also be on the 17th cruise. I was just wondering if there was any one else that is just husband and wife(no kids) going. We are celebrating a late honeymoon. We were married in December. If so maybe we can meet up.

Hi Ann Marie,

Thanks for letting us join in on the fun. No expectations from us, of course, but just in case, here are the details:

Stateroom 6092 - My son (4)
Stateroom 6108 - My sister's sons (8)(6)

I wasn't sure if we were supposed to share names on this thread, or not, or whether that would get sorted out at the meet-up. For those of you who do happen to have extras, and stop by our part of the boat, know that my daughter is listed on our (6092) FE, but she is hanging out with grandma during this trip.

Should I assume that the headcount is correct a few pages ago? I'm trying to figure out how many goodies I should buy, but I'm not sure if I should go off that list, or not. If not, can someone post how many folks I should be buying for?

The list posted a couple of pages back is correct (7 staterooms participating - total). I really wish we could sign you up for the exchange, but I would still think that maybe at least a few people would have some extra goodies to drop by since you have posted your staterooms. No promises, but we can hope. Looking forward to meeting you and your family real soon!

Congratulations on your wedding! You'll have a wonderful honeymoon.

My husband couldn't get vacation time for this cruise, so it's just me and a lady friend (two old grandmas) this time. You'll have an awesome trip, and hopefully we'll see you on board!

I've finally finished FE gifts and started my pack pile. I"m sure the mound will continue to grow in the next 10 days!

So I just looked at the web cams in Nassau is the magic and at Port Canaveral the wonder. I'm ready to go right now Ha nothing packed the clothing is still sitting in the chair guess I have to wait how many more days...to many!

This morning I'm walking DD to the bus and she ask me if I'm getting excited about the cruise I tell her yes but what I wanted to says was yes I'm excited because I can't wait for you to really see what ship you are going on.

Anyway we continue walking and she says well when we get settled in to the room can we! (Wait a minute it's 8:00am and my 6 1/2 year old is talking about getting settled in wow growing up way to fast.) We go and explore the ship. I explain to her that we won't be able to get into the room until after 1:30pm but what we can do is go eat and then swim in the pool. Her reply was can we swim first then eat. At this point I'm, bitting my tongue because I can't wait for her to see the pool. Well then her bus pulls up and that's then end of the cruise conversation. Wow safe again did not spill the beans.

Now remember DD now we are going on a cruise but she thinks it's Carnival has no clue it's Disney. I have even showed her youtube stuff of Carnival I'm so bad I just want her to be so excited also I don't have to play 20 questions prior to us arriving at the port. The best thing now is a friend of ours is going to drop us off at the port and he is going to drive over to the Carnival terminal and then go back around to the DCL terminal. Can you imagine what her face will be like. I'll have video! I'm telling you guys now DD keeps me going you'll see. She will last from 8:00 tell the whee hours if you let her.

Well gonna run DD has cheerleading tonight coach is even in on the surprise.

I check the webcams all the time too!

I am SO ready for this vacation!!! Of course, I'm not really ready (packed, organized, etc.), but I really wish that this was next Friday instead of today. That's when we'll be leaving home. We'll arrive at Port Canaveral on Saturday afternoon sometime, depending on how close to schedule Amtrak manages to stay!

We'll be staying at the Radisson at the Port on Saturday night, and taking a cab to the port when we're ready. I know there's a free shuttle, but this way we can just go whenever we're organized.

Glad I'm not the only one who checks the webcams.

When I pulled on to I-4 this morning and saw all the traffic my response was darn not going to see the wonder pull into nassau on the webcams.

Sure enough after my quick stop at starbucks and logged on the Wonder was docked.

The question now is can I find a good enough reason tonight to be home when they pull out.

Well maybe if not to tired I can get up and watch the magic doc in the morning.

DH thinks I'm crazy for watching it, I told him it's quite relaxing he does not get it at all

I won't be able to see any of the webcams this weekend. I'm spending the weekend with my MIL who doesn't have a computer, so no internet. I can't handle the idea of trying to watch Wonder sail out on Sunday on dialup!!!! And I won't be home in time to see her sail on Thursday, so the next time I see Wonder sailing, I'll be waving at the webcams instead of watching them! I can't wait!

I pulled the suitcases out and my cat who knows when those come out the cat sitter is on the way, literally swatted at the suitecase I had to laugh.

If any of you want to see what I look like, check the link in my sig! I've reached the age where I don't change much from year to year.

We'll be pretty easy to find. Grandma Bear never goes ANYWHERE without TB (the bear), and he's usually better dressed than either one of us will be. I understand that his suitcase is already packed. My suitcase, on the other hand, is still in my closet, behind our camping supplies. I guess I'd better start thinking about this very seriously!

5 more days! I've just started my packing. Hopefully, I can get it all done before Friday night. We are getting in on Saturday and staying at the Country Inn & Suites. This morning, I decided to check the website to see if the prices on the rooms are any better than when I booked it 3 weeks ago and it was $60 cheaper! I cancelled and re-booked at the better rate!

We're leaving Friday morning and taking Amtrak from Newark, NJ. Grandma Bear doesn't particularly like flying, and she doesn't believe in traveling light, so the luggage fees alone would cost more than the cruise!

We're staying at the Radisson at the Port on Saturday night, and we'll be on board as soon as we manage to get ourselves organized on Sunday morning.

I'm trying to wrap up all the last-minute things that I have to do here in my office. It seems like every possible emergency is developing this week, but they'll have to manage without me for the next couple of weeks!

Congratulations, agoofybeast!

I'm still in my Cat. 11 sideways cabin, but that was an upgrade from my Cat. 12 GTY, and I'm happy with it! I love being on Deck 5.
