I'm looking to meetup and I don't see a thread started! Where's my fellow cruisers? :)

I have added your thread to the cruise meet list :thumbsup2

Just returned from a cruise on the Dream and booked this trip for May 2012. Looking forward to it!

:sail:

We're in!!

We just got off the Dream last week, and are really looking forward to returning to the Magic. The Dream was gorgeous, but we like the smaller ships more:thumbsup2.

I'm SO looking forward to relaxing poolside :drinking1

Me, DH and our DD (she'll be 15 months) will be cruising with you all!

Yay! It will be our first Disney Cruise and first vacation with a young child. Should be interesting!

It's our first Disney cruise and I am excited and a little worried. It will be just me and three kids age 7, 5, and 4! :scared1: After the cruise, we are heading to Disney World for a week. Sadly it is my last trip until I graduate from nursing school.

Hiya I'm danielle and will be cruising with my husband and our 2 kids. This is our first cruise ever! (besides my hubby being an ex-coast guard...he is looking forward to a non-working cruise!)
Kids will be: DS 4 Zealand and DD 3 Kingsley
My sister will also be cruising with her 2 kids: DS 12 and DD 10

Im hoping everyone will be interested in fish extenders?!

veteran cruisers: advice for us newbies? great spots to sit in theater or deck shows? best bank for buck purchases? times to eat meals/snacks?
Is there a fee to un-cork an alcohol bottle or just wine if you take it to dinner?

look forward to getting to know you all!!

Hey guys. I am not officially "booked" yet but in 10 days we will have the money to pay our deposit and then some so I'm almost booked :goodvibes We WERE going to do the cruise that leaves May 18 which is when this cruise gets back but we had some scheduling conflicts so we moved it. :woohoo: Is anybody interested in doing the Fish Extender exchange? I'd love to do it. We can limit it to 1 gift or something if everyone would like to. I'm just excited to be taking our first cruise!! It will be me (I'm Jen) and will be turning 30 2 days before the cruise :scared1: , DH (Carl), DS (12 Austin), DD (8 Katy) and dd (will be 22 months at cruise time her name is Jaycee). My MIL, and my parents are also cruising with us. Here is the only thing.....I haven't told DH yet that this is planned...oops :rolleyes1 A few years ago we planned to cruise and my dh grandmother got sick and we decided to wait until she could travel out of the states. She did get better but doesn't want to cruise this time. Then I got pregnant w/ the youngest daughter and here we are. Dh told me that with his new job we needed to get thru winter before we book...I deleted that text and pretend I never saw it :confused3 I got it all planned and just have to spring it on the husband....like this week. Fingers crossed it goes well!!!!

This will be my family's fifth cruise. This was such a great deal, we couldn't pass it up. It was so good, that my brother-in-law and his family are joining us. It will be myself (dad), wife, son-16, and disabled son-23. My in-laws are Tony/Natalia, son-12, daughter-8, son-4. Originally we had planned the April vacation on the Dream (3-night), but plans fell through. Now it's a 4-night for less money on the Magic. We'll also stay at Disney World before and after the cruise before flying home.
As for advice: show up for dinner 5-10 minutes after start time. Otherwise, you'll be in line waiting to be seated, instead of arriving a few minutes later and going straight to your table.
As for transportation, we'd most likely take a private limo to and fro Port Canaveral since it's less expensive than the Disney CruiseLine bus.
I'll ask my in-laws about the FE's since they have younger kids.
Hear from you soon,
Gus:surfweb:

Hi again guys. I PAID MY DEPOSIT TODAY!!! :cool1: Even though were not paid in full it's still surreal to know we've took the first and most important step. In other news....if you read my earlier post......I finally told the dh that I had it planned :thumbsup2 That went over smoothe and I"m relieved he was "all aboard" for the plan. Can't wait to start making door magnets and FE gifts (if we all choose to do it). Happy sailing guys :cheer2:
