Ken, the shirts look great. Debbie, thanks for keeping everyone organized. I'm new to this thread. We were going to "Bring the Magic Home" but on our 4day Christmas cruise on the Wonder decided to switch to "Going to the Med on the Magic". Yesterday, I spent all day changing plane reservations and today I've tried to read a lot of this thread. Hopefully, I'm getting acquainted with all of you in my mind. I had never heard of the Dis Family until I met all these people on the PC Repo having such a good time. As soon as I got home I got on the internet. Now, I read it daily just as I do my hometown Kansas paper. I look forward to meeting all of you. Steve, I would be glad to bring goodies to your wine and cheese party. I live close to Mickey's World.
I work part-time in Epcot as a Convention Guide so I get to hear Debbie's favorite band a lot.

Kathy, checked out the crocs - oh there were so many cute colors - I'm not sure what to pick.

We're on our way out this morning to the Rose Bowl to see the final decorations going on the floats for the big parade tomorrow (good weather tomorrow.) We've been going with a group of friends for about 10 years now and it is quite stunning in real life. It's hard to imagine the detail on TV... Maybe now that we have HD we'll really see the flowers. The CAL POLY float is always gorgeous, but they are the last ones every year to meet the deadline - so there is a fury of people frantically trying to get it done. Met many of my goals this year and am anxious to set a new list of goals for 2007 - is it cheating to say going to Europe is a goal?

One more thing. I know Scott got a lotta KEWL Pirates of the Caribbean stuff for christmas. Did anyone else get anything KEWL?
Me, I got the completion to my Buffett CD collect. Got the Boats, Bars and Beaches box set.
One of the presents I got for Lee, I bought some time ago and then later events made me rethink it. I finally decided to give it to her anyway.

She loved it.

Adorable! Glad you gave it to her. Bet it brought tears to her eyes, I got a little misty eyed myself seeing your gift to her.

Shari and our daughter spent the day yesterday putting flowers on some of the floats for the Rose Parade. They worked for about 10 hours on the Kaiser float. So when you see it, remember that a fellow Med cruiser helped put it together.

Yes I did score lots o stuff for Christmas 2007. Look out Jennings Osbourn. Will have to do a FAA Notam, so planes don’t try to land on our street.

Bob surprised that you did not have the Buffett Box set.

Only saw the Rose Parade once in person, and that was the year Walt was Grand Marshall.

Have a fun and safe New Years, I hope to stay awake till 10:00 Mt time.

Ken - I will watch for the Kaiser float. That is a goal one year, go and see the Rose Bowl parade.

Hey, Ken, you know what might be a good/helpful idea? If you were to put the link to the Tshirt page in your disboard "signature" temporarily (the way Deb has the link to the roster in hers). That way if/when people wanted to get to the site to order some t-shirts (or THONGS, apparently, although perhaps I don't have the parental controls set correctly on my computer to purchase such things! hehehe ).....they wouldn't have to scroll back searching for the original post...just any post you've made!

Sorry, it was the Kaiser-Permineta (I'm sure I didn't spell that correctly) float. The health care company.

Yes actually ironically enough shortly after I checked the boards and posted that question....we were channel surfing and surfed past a taped presentation of the parade on the travel channel and it was JUST showing the Kaiser float...decorated with Mother Goose theme, right? Very nice!

The Rose Bowl game just started, so we are wathcing that and doing some cooking.

What I want to know is if the Med cruise is loaded yet How will we know where we are!!!


Mom_rules: When they upgraded the boards recently some peoples e-mail notification was turned off. Just resubscribe and select that.

I got my e-mail fixed, but having issues with fixing the webpage. I will get it!
