Tell me about it with the super fast signing up for brunch!! Fine...while you're all eating I'm gonna get a massage then!
Jason and I will have to make our own brunch arrangements if we decide we wanna do that, then.
We made what we think are going to be our final excursion decisions today.....and considering my admitted obsession with all creatures non-human, I'm sure there won't be many surprises! We decided to do all Disney excursions since we can financially afford to and it just makes the planning and logistics so much easier. I think here's what we're going to do:
1.) In Castaway we're going to do the walking and kayak tour. We usually get cabana massages first thing in the morning at
Castaway Cay and always see the kayak tour group walking back past the cabanas to do their excursion...and we've always wanted to do it. We decided since there'll be plenty of time on the boat to get massages and since we've done the cabanas several times that we'd rather do the kayak tour this time. We're also signing up for the "Extreme Getaway Package" which includes a bike, float rental, snorkeling gear, and the stingrays---we usually get the 3 in one package but as I said in an earlier post we've wanted to do stingrays at Castaway AND in Nassau and have THREE times had the excursion cancelled due to weather or other problems....so we decided to take full advantage this time.
2.) In Tenerife we're going to do Loro Parque (big shock!)...."the largest collection of parrots in the world"...? UM SIGN ME UP!!!!
3.) In Cadiz we decided to do the Horse Show. It was a toss-up between that and the honeybee farm which sounded really interesting, too....but we figured that if we wanted to visit a honey farm we could probably find one in the states to visit....but the chance to see the Royal Andalusian horses IN Spain is probably not something we'll soon have again.
4.) In Gibraltar we're doing "Gibraltar Walking Tour" because we don't mind getting a little workout and it has all 4 of the things I was most interested in doing: The Cable Car, the Apes, the Tunnels, and St. Michael's Cave.
5.) In Barcelona we're going to do the Aquarium (again...no big shock....I'll go to a zoo or aquarium or wildlife preserve/safari anywhere!!!) and Park Guell----we also liked that one because it starts early in the morning and lasts only half a day so we'll be done around lunch time and if we decide we want to explore Barcelona a bit more on our own we'll have the time and freedom to do so (because we read there IS a pretty good Zoo in the city in ADDITION to the aquarium! hehehe) (If we can't get in the aquarium excursion then we're going to do my SECOND favorite thing after animal-life.....CHOCOLATE!!!!

)
So I have all those excursions "wish listed" on the
DCL website for our cruise....and first thing in the morning on Feb. 11th I'm going to get up and officially reserve!
Has everyone else made their decisions?
Erik
