Very nice! Any fun plans for the rest of the weekend?

Sorry Holly, one of the fun things for the rest of the weekend arrived at the door and I had to go. 2 granddaughters and their mum came for a cuppa to waste some time till daddy got home. He has been down to London for an awards ceremony for the audio visual industry. We were there for the website - came second, but the networking opportunities were excellent and it was all worth it.

Going to relax now they have gone!!!!:headache:

I do this exact same thing. I think I have taught my DH to do this too. I woke up at 4:30 and he was watching the TV. I hate when my thoughts during the night take over my life. They seem so much bigger during the night. In the morning, it is never as bad.....

I'm ok if I can stay asleep, but if I wake up then thjose thoughts take over. I now wear earplugs as John snores, but the added bonus is that I don't get woken up as much.:)

I had very difficult pregnancies. With Daniel (he was over 8 pounds when he was born) I weighed 10 pounds less than the day I got pregnant when I went to deliver him. I threw up the entire pregnany. There were days when I threw up 50 times. It was horrible. I left the hospital weighing 30 pounds less than the day I got pregnant. I even had "morning" sickness for 4 days after he was born....then it just stopped.....no more.....strange.

Anyway, when I was pregnant with Annie, if I ate Subway...I did not throw it up.....I always seemed to think it was something to do with the bread. Altough I still threw up a lot, I was able to gain 2 pounds with the pregnancy because of Subway. I lived at Subway.....breakfast lunch and dinner......

I could not go back there for years and years after that.

Gretchen was much easier....I did throw up every day, but usually just once or twice no matter what I ate.

Can you believe I let meself get pregnant sevarl times?? Was I crazy or what?:lmao: :lmao:

I was 41 when Gretchen was born and my doctor had told me after Annie...no MORE. Well after Gretchen, she said made me sign the paper to have my tubes tied off. She said I would die if I let myself get pregnant again. She could not believe I made it though Gretchen.

Oh my!!! What awful pregnancies. I'm surprised you ever had more than one baby!

It sounds like you had a nice visit. Wonderful about the awards ceremony!

I've been popping in and out here, paying bills online, and trying to work up the motivation to go clothes shopping. I absolutely loathe shopping and have just been wearing baggy clothes, but I can't avoid it any more. It was difficult at work yesterday running around with one hand holding my pants up! :rotfl2:

I also need to get a haircut, but hate doing that as well. The beautician always wants to chat about my life and I just want to sit and get my haircut. :rotfl: Is there a nice way to ask her to please just cut my hair and don't chit-chat?! :lmao: Just kidding....I could never bring myself to do that. That's why I only get my haircut about once a year! ;)

I suppose I'd better get off the couch, take a shower and head out.

Holly, take a book to the hairdressers and get your nose into it when she is cutting your hair!!:)

Yes, I think it is time to get some super new clothes to show off your great new figure!!! Or else you will be showing off far too much of your great new figure!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

:rotfl2: Good point! :rotfl: Well, I suppose I can handle the torture of shopping for just a couple outfits. I don't want a whole new wardrobe because I'll just need to get smaller clothes in a couple months (at least I hope). :thumbsup2

Good afternoon Marilyn!

I really did have a great evening, thanks! :thumbsup2 I fell asleep around midnight and eventually wandered to my bed. Unfortunately, my thoughts woke me up very early. So I'll hang out a bit, then find something good to watch on TV and let myself fall asleep again. I normally need complete silence to get to sleep, but I find when I have a lot of worries rolling around in my head, I can fall asleep quicker if I have the TV on with the sound very low. That way, I'm listening to whatever show is on, rather than my thoughts.

Just like me! I got into the habit of sleeping with the TV on a long time ago....as a teen....did it all through living alone....tried doing music when I met John and went back to TV anyway. I have the Navigator channel on all night long during every cruise. At home it's a 24 hour news station...FoxNews or CNN Headline.

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I had a very strange dream last night. For some reason, Heather and I were roommates and we had been keeping Angel while Deb's legs were healing. A teenaged girl with long blond hair showed up one day to get Angel. The girl told us her name is Julie and that she's Deb's niece. I told her she looks just like a younger version of Deb based on the pics of Deb we've seen on here. She was telling us how Deb's legs are improving and that the only part left to heal is a small area on one leg, but that she's just about back to being herself. Then before Julie left, Heather gave her a stack of DVDs and told her she'll be sending her a new ipod soon. :rotfl:

Dreams can be so strange!

Wow I wish I knew how to interpret this one!....A lot of it is true though....You and Heather are sisters, roommates the same thing. Sandi kept Angel while my legs were healing. Sandi has very long blond hair, down to her waist. My first cousin, and only other girl in the family has one daughter whose name is Julie the only girl in her generation. I always called my mom's cousin's Aunts....this too applies. My legs are healing well....I have one small area left on one leg and the edema is down and I'm about being back to myself again....so much more mobile. Heather giving Julie a stack of DVDs and wanting to send her a new ipod....is just who Heather is....such a giving and nurturing person....it stands to reason.

My dream last night also connected to these posts. I went back to the mall where I had my first job in life at 16 years old. But the store I worked in was gone and they had built up the mall to twice the size and it was high tech and I got a job in two stores so I had to pick one....then I was looking for an apartment with some girls that I was working with. Then the dream ended.

Lisa/LiserAnn posted that her first job was at the mall....the I.Magnin stores now gone.....etc.

We are so addicted to this board, we live it and dream it......I even say to others, "I talked to my friend the other day and they said....." when referring to a recent post by someone. WOW! I think we've got it bad. DISaddicts!

I am getting Vanessa up at 9am (8:55 am here now) to go here her nails done for tonight. She thinks she wants BRIGHT RED to go with her shimmery silver dress. Her shoes are unbelievable. I could not walk in them (5" spike heels) to save the life of one of my children :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Don't forget to take pics and post....we want to see the big weekend!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

It is amazing to see young girls with colored polish. All my DD's and her friends do fis rench polish.

So I decided that I was going to get on the scale this morning and not wait until Nov 1st....coz I'll be off the cruise and at WDW....don't want to weigh in then. This morning I weighed in 9 less lbs. in almost two weeks. Good! diettogo is working well. Of course, I'll be way off diettogo food while on the cruise and vaca......so here's to starting over when I get back home.

Wow....I have lost 25lbs in 6 weeks. That's a diet I can do!

:cutie: :cutie: :cutie:

We didn't go to the drive in last night, but John said YES to going tonight! YEA! We'll just keep the heat on in the car while watching the movies.

Marilyn, I think Orlando Bloom is worth it and Johnny Dep is a bonus!!!!!!!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Deb, I do EXACTLY the same thing! Probably because we already all think of each other as friends. :grouphug:

Well done Deb, keep it up. You must be noticing the difference now.

Mmm, Orlando Bloom looked so gorgeous in the shot right at the end of the credits - worth waiting the extra 10 minutes for!!!

Just for you(and me!), though not that shot.

Absolutely!!!! We all know each other so well for such a long while now....I feel like I've already met all of you.....I see the pics and hear the stories and if I saw you in a crowd I would go right up to you and get a hug.....as if I saw you yesterday!

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who does this!:

:hippie: :hippie: :hippie:

Have a great time tonight! That sounds like so much fun! It's so sunny today and supposed to be tomorrow too, so it would be perfect for doing a pumpkin patch or corn maze or something similar, but I told Tyler he lost those privileges when he got suspended. :guilty: I suppose we could go to the park or do something outside. He loves yardwork and the back yard needs some serious attention.

This sounds like when I was pregnant with Olivia. I was sick pretty much all nine months! I wouldn't throw up all day long, but I FELT like I would throw up and my appetite suffered. I knew I had to eat so that the baby would get nutrition, but the sickness was miserable. I left the hospital about 30 lbs lighter than the day I got pregnant.

This is the same problem I have. I HATE chatting during a haircut!

OK, I'm off to get ready and show some real estate this afternoon. Then I have more cleaning to do!

Thanks guys....and thank you to Lisa/disneylover5 for telling me about diettogo....it's so easy to do and satisfies you with good food so you don't crave anything and feel full.

The clothes are loose and I've probably gone down at least one size. YEA!

Hopefully by May I should be down many sizes at this rate, even with my upcoming cruise. Finally, something that works!
