May 10, 2008 Ship of Thieves! Stealing the Magic..AGAIN!!! Panama Canal FL to CA!!! Part 7

So I just whipped up a nice pasta salad, and have wings marinating in the fridge. Figured an easy dinner --- maybe some potato skins, I have two bags of potatoes that need cooking. Or a breakfast casserole for in the morning.

New neighbor report.....very quiet so far but everyday there are about 5 or 6 cars there....must be having lots of sleepovers!

Gorgeous day here today. You can tell the weather is on the verge of changing. It's in the 80's and sunny and just wonderful. I noticed in the Children's Place they had huge winter coats..I am thinking - this is Fl, does anyone really wear them?

I definitely didn't think winter coats are even sold anywhere in FL!

I don;t know why the stores rotate the stock the way they do....I had a helluva time trying to find a tank top for Samantha and could not find one for Haley. All the Christmas stuff is out as well!

I did see some very adorable newborn Christmas dresses.....but no way can we afford another...no room and I would have to pay to go to work....and my luck it would be twin boys!

but the thought is always there and John is bugging me to death about it. Maybe when Samantha goes to school.....no, no, no V, no more kids!

Ok, Ok . . . I turned it on this morning just to take the chill off. I had to laugh though . . . people in Ohio are just as funny as people in Florida. If it were spring, and 50 degrees like it was today, EVERYONE would be wearing shorts.

Today, I went to the Mall (mind you, just a few days ago it was in the 80's) and I was the ONLY person wearing shorts! Everyone's blood must be thin from the long summer!

the million dollar neighbor is having an open house today....no one has come through. Their new house is awesome! I am just a tad green.
I don't know how they are goign to sell this. Nothing is moving right now.

so Samantha was being nice up until now. Tantrum time I guess. Man, if things aren't her way that is pretty much it.

we did make it passed the Disney store...only because Build a Bear is directly across from it and they only had eyes for that.....we did not go in there either.

we are going to watch the Disneyland DVD......has anyone seen it?

ok we can't watch anything but the intro. We have lost the remote for the dvd player and no matter what I hit it won't advance to Disneyland or anything other than the intro for that matter.

I was quite shocked a couple weeks ago when we were shopping for Halloween decorations at K-mart and the artificial Christmas trees were on display RIGHT NEXT to the Halloween costumes. It was just a bit disturbing.

Amy is working late tonight - won't be home until after the game starts. I have been on my own all day - Sophia is with her aunt and grandma. Her new bed came today, and I had to go and order a new mattress set. Got my hair cut too, and now I am DIS'ing and doing 2.5 hours of required CLE on the TV - our local University (Kent State) teamed up with the cable provider so that you can do it at home instead of going to the class. So I can do laundry, bills, and other stuff while I fulfill my legal requirements.

Where to go for dinner . . . I am thinking Mexican.
