Hi Marilyn ... and all!!

I just got off the phone with DCL (I was lucky to get Rocko ... he is really great!! ... definitely on my favorites list).

I have now requested Head Server, Server and Rotation.

So far we have always gotten our choices ... actually in Nov/Dec cruise, we did not list a server ... and we got our favorite (how bizarre is that?). It was pure coincidence, but we all got a kick out of how things sometimes just work out.

Also, inside the bag, I put an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper with our name, address, stateroom number and cell phone numbers on just in case the luggage tags come off. It has been known to happen before! Then when DCL opens the luggage to see if they can identify it, they know exactly where to find me!

We do the same thing inside. After seeing the way the luggage is heaved into a massive pile at the elevators, it's frightening. Anything could burst open.

We decided to keep all of our original picks ... guess we are finally getting it right the first time!!

Acapulco - Mini Jeep Rhino Adventure

Puerto Vallarta - Las Caletas Hideaway

Cabo San Lucas - Canyon Canopy Adventure

I finally have my airfare booked for the trip home, excited because I ended up getting a great time and fare...but sad because...well...it's the trip home, that will mean it is over

I try not to think about after the cruise. I get upset just thinking about it and having to say goodbye to everyone. After all this time chatting and getting to know each other and it will be all over.

Can you find a simple mumu style gown--even in the sleepware department--and paint a floral design on it? The other site you posted had a lot of variety in the floral designs so ANYTHING you painted would be authentic looking.

You could even have a solid color mumu. Add a striped shawl or stole and sandals. Then a flower in the hair and you are good to go.

Jan...I was thinking about going the mumu route, and just cutting and hemming it to the lenght I wanted (you know, cover that belly) to make it a blouse.

We are having some discussions right now ... so far SweetTarts and Reeses Pieces are "on the list".

I think Preludes is REALLY expensive. Do any of you buy from them? If so, what do you buy??

The first cruise, my kids (then 8-9-10) liked the paintcan powder thing where you licked the brush and kept dipping for more powder. But YIKES the $$$. I have since found similar items at the local CVS store. But, they have moved on to Dove bites and Creme Savers.

I know the word from DCL is that the excursions you see are all they have ... but ... in the past they have added more times and even more excursions if they book up. So don't lose hope!! I would drop a note AS SOON AS you board at the Shore Excursions requesting some your would like to be added to if/when a spot opens. You might get lucky!!

So Tyler finished his homework and was headed to do his cruise countdown paper chain, but got distracted and wanted to make a project for me. Not sure why he's stalling about the paper chain. He says he really wants to make one, but I'm wondering if he's afraid to because he might still have doubts about us going since I cancelled a couple vacations recently? Well, I keep assuring him every day that we're going for sure now! I guess he'll just see when we get there!

After hearing about the availability for the party on the Friday before the cruise, we ditched our ressies for the Residence Inn at Cape, and bought tickets!

DVC does have the discounted tickets available now ($40.42 per adult inc tax) You have to pick them up at will call and show your DVC card. I assume that the Party starts at 7 pm. Does anyone know when we can get in with the tickets. I think a couple of years ago, we got in at 4 pm but I don't remember when the park officially closed last time.


Now, I have to find a liquor store on the way to the Port. I know where it is in Cocoa Beach. Just need a bottle of Bailey's.. and some water for the excursions.

We are flying in on the Friday of the party. Not sure that we will have time to change clothes for the party. Do you think that TSA will have a problem with Pirate costumes?

Gotta run, taking dog to the vet.
