There seems to be most excursions available, just not the canopy/zip line type things. Depends on what you are wanting to do. I wonder what people do who don't have the internet?

I feel like that too, maybe we'll cruise together again in the future, never know! Or maybe a meet at WDW. My DD and her DH just talked me into booking another trip to WDW the first week of Dec

So, how are everybody's excursions coming along??

We decided to keep all of our original picks ... guess we are finally getting it right the first time!!

We booked the following:

Castaway Cay - Walking & Kayaking Adventure

Aruba - Sailing & Snorkeling

Acapulco - Mini Jeep Rhino Adventure

Puerto Vallarta - Las Caletas Hideaway

Cabo San Lucas - Canyon Canopy Adventure

I know the word from DCL is that the excursions you see are all they have ... but ... in the past they have added more times and even more excursions if they book up. So don't lose hope!! I would drop a note AS SOON AS you board at the Shore Excursions requesting some your would like to be added to if/when a spot opens. You might get lucky!!

That's good to know. I won't give up hope, and besides, as much as I love to plan and really hope to be able to parasail and zipline etc, this is my 1st cruise and I know I will have lots to see and do, just an excuse to go back if I miss some things

We are having some discussions right now ... so far SweetTarts and Reeses Pieces are "on the list".

I think Preludes is REALLY expensive. Do any of you buy from them? If so, what do you buy??

The first cruise, my kids (then 8-9-10) liked the paintcan powder thing where you licked the brush and kept dipping for more powder. But YIKES the $$$. I have since found similar items at the local CVS store. But, they have moved on to Dove bites and Creme Savers.

We are flying in on the Friday of the party. Not sure that we will have time to change clothes for the party. Do you think that TSA will have a problem with Pirate costumes?

It squirts out just like whipped cream would. BATTER BLASTER It is super easy to use and no mess to clean up. Just heat the pan up and you are ready to go. Kids really like it and it makes mornings easier for me. Hey anything that means we can eat more pan cakes is a great thing! Two thumbs way up from me!

AWESOME! I watched the little demo video on the website. I want that! Next time we're near the store, we're getting some!

Hi Deborah-no, we only went to Mexico with DCL and completely regretted not doing the PC, which is why we didn't hesitate booking this cruise! Can't wait!!

Ah I see and the photos are great, going show it to my husband Good that you cannot wait so we too. We never been Mexico before as our first time.

I wasn't planning on dressing for mexican night either but then I found this on ebay and I figured why not, it looks cute and seems mexican themed to me. I made an offer of $6.50...I'm not usually a fan of wearing pre-worn clothes, but for one night, and the price is right, why not! We're also wearing matching Disney outfits (DH said only once also ) but I think we'll wear ours for boarding.

We watched THE NOTEBOOK last night. What a wonderful story! We laughed and cried.

I was watching it (dvd) two years ago and it was so beautiful story and I realised at the end. I passed it around my family and my friend and now I got it back I think I will watch it again. (

I can't sew, but I agree it is beautiful She has put some ideas for embroidery and even says to paint designs.

I was just searching for ideas.

Hi Marilyn ... and all!!

I just got off the phone with DCL (I was lucky to get Rocko ... he is really great!! ... definitely on my favorites list).

I have now requested Head Server, Server and Rotation.

So far we have always gotten our choices ... actually in Nov/Dec cruise, we did not list a server ... and we got our favorite (how bizarre is that?). It was pure coincidence, but we all got a kick out of how things sometimes just work out.

Are the $2 on that site real? They sure seem to be advertised as real Disney pins. It is so hard for those of us who don't trade alot and usually just buy from Disney to know this stuff. Easy to rip me off!

From what I can tell. The one that start with CL/HM and the cast lanyards are real. I will see what others say about the site later.

Here is a site where you can see upcoming pins. They don't sell them though. It is neat to see the new ones that are out all over though.

I wish I had known this prior to spending my $60. Oh well. Do you think it would be bad taste to have the kids trade them?

I ordered some for Molly to keep, they look just like the hidden mickey pins we've gotten before.

They are fine to trade it is no problem and the hidden mickey ones are fine. It is the other ones that are not really disney pins. Cast memebers will not refuse to trade them and sometime the kids love them just as much as the real one.

So Tyler was coloring a picture in a Scooby Doo coloring book where Scooby & Shaggy are dressed as leprechauns. He asked me, "Do St. Patrick's Day people have green coats?" I asked him if he meant leprechauns & he told me yes, then asked, "What are leprechauns?" Not quite sure how to explain that one. Will google it tonight unless somebody here has a quick and easy answer? I told him they're tiny people, sort of like elves, who guard pots of gold and that I'd get more info for him later. That worked for now.

I'm so sorry I suggested the mouse pins website to you guys! It seems like you are all now worried! I've used use it QUITE a few times and have never had any trouble! You have all been so nice with suggestions, etc. that I wanted to help all of you out who were interested in trading pins! So I apologize for stirring up the pot!! So if you would rather buy off E-bay please go right ahead!!!

Actually from what you said about getting few propins they sound better than some on e-bay. Sorry if I upset anyone too I just didn't want anyone to be dissapointed when they got a bunch of propins (I forgot someone had used them before).

Yes, that is my "rule" also. We unwrap everything then place in zippie bags and have the zippie bags in a desk drawer in the room. The kids (of all ages) can "grab a bag" and go. The zippies don't tend to make noise like the "crackly" paper wrappers.
