Great to know that I am not the only one that does this! And, I still can't find the stupid thing. I need to tear apart our storage closet tonight (there are about 20 boxes in there of scrapping supplies and other "essential" things that I have yet to unpack from the move! Hopefully it turns up...

Goodmorning all, For those of you with some really cold weather - I promise we are sending some sun your way.

I'm doing a quick view of the board while at work (shame on me). Had to comment. This is working Keep it up.

The snow is starting to melt. Woohoo. But we are supposed to get more tonight.

That sounds like a neat idea (if they don't cost too much). I would love to hear reviews too if anyone has used this.

I have many patients with SAD (seasonal affect. disorder) who use these daily. They do work really well and help SAD symptoms nicely. It is a much gentler way to wake up and for those of us stuck up here in the horrid gray weather of the PNW it can be a miracle worker. So, not sure how they would work on a ship, but I think with the inside rooms it would be nice.

Anyone can let me know if it is still doing it or stop it?? I remember that we did it last two years ago in early morning.

Well, I think after the 75 day mark, all of us who are shut out of Palo may want to be in a group. I know if I can't get my own brunch reservation, I'd want to try to get on a group list.

So, with the group meals...if you signed up for a dinner and had a Palo dinner reserved for you already...if you got the group one, the private one would be automatically cancelled? Is that true? Still trying to understand all these specifics of these Palo ressies.

I have a tap light, I use it kind of like a flashlight, point it at the floor. I am worried about the toes in the night, we normally stay in a handicap room and they don't have the step up for the bathroom.

Kaylee, we passed over the stockings and went straight for the boot. I ordered it today and I'm waiting for a call to see when it's going to arrive. I have to use it one hour in the morning and one hour in the evening. We'll see how that works with the edema.

Just wanted to check on a news report I heard on the radio today . . .

They said that in Supermarkets in Scotland, BEER is cheaper than buying bottled water!

Is this correct?

If so, the Beer Boys may need to take a trip to Scotland sometime!

Well, remember a few months back and I thought we were going to have to put Casey to sleep? We didn't as I got some good advise here, she was still eating fine and did have some good quality of life.

Well last night was a bad one for her. She gets up in the middle of the night and barks and gets lost in the house. Paul was up with her for 2 hours last night. I even woke up which is odd since I sleep thru everything.

I talked with Paul a bit ago and he wants to take her in this week

She is not doing well and really keeping him from sleep at night.

I'm so sad.

I do worry about leaving her with a pet sitter while we are gone on the repo, it's a lot to ask someone else to have to get up all night long with a crazy old dog.

Wish us luck...

As I watch my nut of a dog, out in the snow, chomping on a stick she found somewhere . . . just laying in the snow . . .

Hey Ken, thanks for sending us all that snow. No school again today, 4 inches on the ground an more coming. That picture from last year is looking more familiar.

Hey not a problem. As I said in an earlier post, it is melting out here. We actually have puddles that are slowly turning into lakes. I see some guys are starting to put away the ice fishing rods and getting out the flys.

Could turn this into a game onboard. Something like hot potato. If you find the dreaded fish of doom on your door you have to "catch" them ie remove them by taking them off your door and sticking the magnet to someone elses door.

Well, I started in on a business card magnet with that screen capture. I can bring that along for this idea if need be. Just need to know stateroom #'s of people who are playing along that can be distributed to everyone.

My grandmother's funeral was really nice. It was a lot of fun visiting with my cousins. We are driving back to Minneapolis now. I haven't been able to catch up much, but read a little bit about Palo's. Am I on a list? I'm not sure if will be doing the group one or not for dinner, but I would like to get on a list if possible for Brunch. Anyone heard from Noel? I find it so odd that she hasn't checked in. Sounds like she might have canceled if she is no longer showing up on the linked reservations.

I would like to know the answer to Kaylee's Palo question...regarding the group room and personal dinners.

It is pouring here, we have had several funnel clouds and wow....what a 180 in the weather!

My "dad" (my ex step dad) called me letting me know who had the best recruiting class....not Florida, not Notre Dame, but BAMA.....(he's a Bama grad)!! Very funny!
