I love credit cards so much! v7.0 - 2025 (see first page for add'l details)

Love this idea. I have a Tazza Kitchen nearby (I think it's a VA/NC/SC small chain) on Resy. I probably will grab a gift card and give it to my son to take his girlfriend out since most of his money goes to rent.
I'm in NC, I'll look into that restaurant!

Is there a list somewhere of Resy restaurants? I'm heading to Boston on Monday and would like to pick up a GC to use up the credit before the end of the month. Will be a busy day -- Lululemon & Saks GCs, dinner at Bistro du Midi to use up the Chase $150 credit, take an Uber somewhere to use the $15 credit and grab a GC at a Resy restaurant. I'd also like to wander around the market at Faneuil Hall. Hoping to spend as little cash as possible (Hyatt Boston Harbor was booked on Hyatt points).
*enrolled for Resy, Lulu & Aura Ring credits (might pick one up in Boston if I have time running around trying to use all the coupons)

Can we get a gift card?
not sure too new for data points.
Yeah, I think we gotta spend that fast. Same with Resy, I guess.
We're heading to Vancouver this weekend. I guess we'll eat at Resy restaurants.
yep 9/30
Some of my Resy Restaurants sell gift cards. That is how I get rid of my $10 a month one from Delta as a split payment with $10 on the AMEX and then the rest on a CSR
I thought I posted a map link from flyertalk or reddit ill post it again.
That was my first thought. Then I figured I have free eating out money for this trip! But yeah, I'll going to start doing quarterly visits to Resy restaurants for gift cards after this quarter
Yes I think the 100$ if you buy gift cards is easy.

Here's the link for everyone interested in a crowd-sourced map, as well as some ONLINE gift cards.

They even have the Chase dining map for the same places.

Can we get a gift card?

Reddit seems to think so because it has worked when there have been spend x get x back offers. Either in store or mailing a physical gc, not an ecard, that won't work.

Going to go to the mall this weekend and get one. Never looked at their stuff before and am good with what I have, but at least I can see the quality and options. I'll have 3 quarters of them before my af hits and I have to fully decide.

It's great for those the credits work for but it's "making" me spend on stuff I wouldn't and eat at places I wouldn't to use them and feel like I'm not leaving more on the table.

So one good news about the Plat refresh, if I'm reading Frequent Miler correctly, is that the higher AF doesn't start today for existing card members.

"For card members who opened accounts before September 18th, new benefits are available immediately, but the new annual fee won’t go into effect until their next renewal dates on or after January 2, 2026 (or December 2, 2025 for Business Platinum cards)."

My personal Plat AF hits next week, sounds like I'll get another year with the lower fee!
Whew! I will also renew this month.

Okay, what do I need to get with my $75 quarterly Amex Plat Lululemon credit? Open to anything. Anyone have pants/tights they love?
I love the Align yoga pants and shorts and capris. They also have decent stuff for men (like thin pants that look like chinos but take up much less space than jeans - my DH tried them out in Japan and loved them).
I saw they have men stuff I got 12 days to spend our first 75$ right?
See above re men's pants. They also have great workout shorts there. If the credit works online they also have stuff on sale all the time.

Clearly I shop there too much.
:rotfl:

Someone probably mentioned this already but Amex increased the streaming credit on the Platinum and it now includes Youtube TV. I currently use it for Peacock and WSJ but I feel like there's some other way I can get Peacock. I need to keep the WSJ, but that still would leave $17/month. I did switch Disney + and Hulu to BCP recently.

I'm thinking I can switch my streaming credit on Walmart+ to Peacock (I don't use Paramount +). Good point on the 6x on BCP. I think the extra $17 will still be about an extra $13 off, even with the lower rewards rate.
This is what I do and what I was going to suggest :) Peacock is free with Walmart+
