Hey, all,

The missus and I are planning a Disney trip, and we're aware of the current guidelines for when we do need to be masked and when we don't while in the parks.

What we're wondering is: what's everybody doing with their mask if they choose to take it off when they're outside? Right now, the missus has been storing hers in a Ziploc in her purse when we're at home, but that sounds tedious when going in and out of places with any kind of frequency.

Please keep in mind that this thread isn't a debate about what masking policy should be or shouldn't be.

Pants pocket.

I have had a lanyard from the beginning. Works great. So convenient when taking on and off every few minutes.

We had dinner at Paddlefish - our first trip back when Disney opened - and they were the only restaurant that supplied us with a small paper bag/pocket specifically to put your mask in. I thought it was a nice touch. Never saw that again anywhere else rest of trip and subsequent two trips after that.

Perhaps make some sort of pouch for it or find a lanyard (but I don't like to have the mask hanging on my chest while eating).

Bought these masks from Copper Fit, they have a built in lanyard, and adjustable ear loops.

My DH turns his lanyard to the back when eating. It makes me laugh because I think of someone throwing their tie over their shoulder before dining. If I'm eating something messy, I just tuck the mask on the lanyard in my shirt.

Order mask lanyards. the ones I have can also be used to hold sunglasses, they come with clips that can be used to hold a mask. Cover the mask with a napkin or toss it to the back while eating.

I put them in my pants pocket (yes I'm female--I have no issues with my pockets not being big enough). I saw a lot of masks around people's wrists.

(it's probably not recommended, but...)

I just put them in my pocket, but have lost a couple doing this too and have extras in my backpack.

If we are going from ride to ride I just put it around my wrist.

This thread makes me think I should look into a lanyard though…

I put them in my pocket (female here - never had an issue), put it in the pouch on the stroller, or in the side of the backpack we always have with us. If we're going in and out of places, I put it in my wrist.
