Experiences using Chase Disney card at the parks?

I just received my Chase Disney debit card. First, I have to say I *love* it, I got the castle and it makes me happy every time I use it. I already had a Chase account, so all I had to do was ask for a new card with the Disney branding, and there was no fee. (This isn't my card, I downloaded the photo from Chase's website.)



I see that you need to tell them if you want the discount or other cardmember benefits. I plan to add the card to Apple Pay and also add it to my Disney account/app. Has anyone had any trouble getting the discount or perks when the card is added that way vs. paying with a physical card?

No have never had an issue showing them the wallet

No issues- but remember you do actually have to pay with it to get the discount.

You use to be able to show them the card and they would apply the discount and then pay with a different card if you wanted- this doesn’t work anymore.

During our last trip in May I did not even bring my physical wallet to the park. Just opened up my apple wallet to show them the Disney Visa Debit and then tapped to pay for everything. My husband still carried around his wallet just in case my phone got wonky or the battery died.

Ive not cruised yet. But my debit got me all the same perks that the credit card version got for everything else.

Just returned from DL last week. I was able to get the discount when I paid/booked using the Disneyland app even when I didn't use the card. For instance, I booked a tour and it automatically applied the discount since my Disney Visa was my default card, then when I paid I switched the form of payment to another card but the discount remained.
