Masks While Not In Use In Parks

When I do take them off I just wear it on my wrist or push it up a bit on my forearm. It's nice and easy to grab and put back on.

I just bought mask lanyards from Amazon for my upcoming trip. We were there last August, and the donning and doffing of masks was tedious when having to fish them out of pockets. Not only mine but also having to keep track of my 3 year old's mask as well. On a daily basis around town I have not felt the need for a lanyard, but I think it will really help at Disney.

I like to push it down under my chin, or wear it on my wrist.

How is that even feasable. I take off and put on my mask a good 15 to 20 times a day at Disney. Putting a mask on just to run to the washroom and then tossing it would seem like such a waste. Also puttinf one on to walk into a restaurant and then tossing it and putting a new one on to walk out. A lot of the time that doesn't even take 5 minutes.
If we are going in and out of stores I won't throw a mask out only to immediately walk back indoors, I will likely keep it on or carry it to the next location..other than that though we are going through a lot of masks.

If your going to bother wearing a mask you might as well avoid cross contamination (or other contamination)..before our vax we did it with KN's as well. Surgicals or n95s are not designed to be highly reusable

That's not really everytime then.

We use mask lanyards and they work really well. My kids also use them for school and other kids do too. We have inexpensive ones from Amazon, but I got fun beaded Mickey ones for my daughter and myself:

I’m amazed how well they’ve held up, especially considering the wear and tear from my 3yo! I’ve had so many people ask me about them because they just look different and fun. Sometimes people think I’m wearing really long earrings.

I've graduated from masks and now wear these!!

Hey, all,

The missus and I are planning a Disney trip, and we're aware of the current guidelines for when we do need to be masked and when we don't while in the parks.

What we're wondering is: what's everybody doing with their mask if they choose to take it off when they're outside? Right now, the missus has been storing hers in a Ziploc in her purse when we're at home, but that sounds tedious when going in and out of places with any kind of frequency.

Please keep in mind that this thread isn't a debate about what masking policy should be or shouldn't be.
Honestly, we just wore ours around our wrists for the most part.

We haven’t been yet since covid and we don’t wear masks indoors where we live but if masks are still required in November we will just put them in our pockets. I’m a woman and never have issues with my pants pockets. I’m personally not a fan of the lanyards.

We kept them on most of the time - but when we did have them off we wore lanyards! You can get fun disney-themed beads online and make your own pretty easily!
