March Check-In Thread!

30 days left for me. I haven't even started packing yet, but that and charging my camera battery are about the only things I have left to do.

And finding a sitter for my girls for the week. I wish Disney would let me bring my children with me, but I'm sure they have that policy for a reason. I guess it's all for the best, though. I'm not sure I really want to try to maneuver them through the airport, and I know they would not want to fly in the cargo hold. They are tempermental like that. Besides, a good chew toy and dental stick, and they'll probably not even notice I'm not there.

9 glorious days left! 5 more days of work for me 2 this week & 3 next!

I think fantasy land is always busy with families with little tots, but I think a late evening plan is good, because most little tots won't last into the wee hours.

This weekend adgenda: pack, shop for some summer items for DD, hair cuts. Next week get nails painted, stop to bank before trip....so excited it's almost here!

Good point about the little ones possibly not sticking around late! The two rides I want to do there during the day time are Alice in Wonderland and the teacups, so I think we will do that after we hit up Tomorrowland

I love that we have the same countdown! My hubby has 6 more days of work though!
We will for sure be hitting fantasyland first. And maybe dumbo first. I keep imagining that being my sons first ride....I don't know why!
Not really doing much else for the trip this week. We will do laundry shortly before we leave next week....so all my packing will be crammed in to a day or two. Our 11th anniversary is tomorrow so we are headed out to dinner! Can't wait for that.

Yep, they are not kennel girls. Rose was rescued from some people who didn't mistreat her, they just didn't treat her well. Now, she is the queen of my house, and gets almost offended at me when I ask her to go outside to take care of her business. :-D She has this attitude of, "You'd better let me back in, or I won't let you pet me."

She is, and she knows it!! I have a Y-leash to walk them both with. While walking one day, the clasp on the leash itself broke, and Rose and Jeaux were free, just connected to each other. Jeaux started trying to run off and play tag, Rose dug her feet in and DRAGGED Jeaux to the back door and waited for me to catch up. She had already spent time outside, thank you very much, and was an indoor dog now and that wasn't about to change.

We're going for one day at the very end of March as part of a last look at colleges for our older daughter. It's a surprise for the girls, but I'm not sure I'm going to make it without telling them. My 13-year-old is dying to do Disneybounding, so I hope she can plan it in a day. We plan on telling them the night before we leave for So. Cal. I am so excited, and shocked that my husband wants to squeeze in a trip. I feel so loved!

When we first booked everything, leaving seemed so far away. I slowly started getting things bought that needed bought. We now only have 2 weekends before our trip! 1 weekend for gathering the last few things we need and 1 weekend to go get nails done for DD and I, laundry and packing!!

Well, I've held out about as long as I can to see if Orbitz has the Ebates deal they had last February. I will probably buy my tickets tonight from Cheaptickets and use the 6.88% Ebates deal (bird in the hand and all). The good news for everyone else it that means there is a good chance the Orbitz deal will pop up next week.

I tried looking at Last Minute Travel, it was hard to find the page for Disneyland and when I did it said there was nothing available for my dates.

7 days!!!!!!!!!!! Have so much going all the sudden...it will probably be here fast. My dad is having surgery on his eye on Wednesday so that is going to make the days closest go fast. Which I am glad about!

Can anyone confirm that you will indeed get 6.88% Cash back with Cheaptickets through Ebates? Is it considered Activity or Activity Package?

It must be something you can only get to with the club membership (which I don't have). You wouldn't happen to know the price for 4 day tickets (adult,chile) would you?
