It must be something you can only get to with the club membership (which I don't have). You wouldn't happen to know the price for 4 day tickets (adult, chile) would you?
If you buy tickets alone it's considered and activity. If you reserve a hotel or purchase anything else in the same transaction as your tickets, it's considered an activity package. I always take screen shots of everything when making a purchase as large as tickets through Ebates, but I've never had to use them and always received my cash back with no problems. Can anyone confirm that you will indeed get 6.88% Cash back with Cheaptickets through Ebates? Is it considered Activity or Activity Package?

I am starting to feel some anxiety about switching our hotel though. Am I going to regret staying so far away?? Our plan is to drive and park but is that going to be a huge pain?? We have never had a car out there, we have always flown before this. The afternoon nap is what I'm worried about. I'm wondering if we are really going to need to go back in the afternoon during the week though since the hours are only 10-8. I wonder if we just found somewhere quiet for my son to have a break from the hustle and bustle, maybe nap in the stroller. I just hate to think of leaving in the afternoon and losing a close spot and having to park way far away.![]()
Everyone is different with regards to naps when young. I have always done the afternoon nap/rest with my kids. It really made the whole experience more enjoyable. However now we are going when older 8 & 10. I'm not sure if they would nap...so it may be our 1st full day in park. A few of our days I have planned early dinners just for this reason/and parade or show in afternoon just to allow some down time from the hussle & bussle. If you have young (stroller age) kids I would say let them lead you. It doesn't matter if you miss a few hours in park if it keeps everyone happy.I am starting to feel some anxiety about switching our hotel though. Am I going to regret staying so far away?? Thanks! I ended up going with Cheaptickets/Ebates, it ended up being a little better deal for our combination of tickets. I also got our ART passes from GetAwayToday and our reservation at our kennel for our pup so everything is all set now. It is such a relief, I got tired of stressing out about possible ticket price hikes and big Orbitz Ebates discounts that I am glad it is done and no going back now!4 day (one park per day) are
adult: $223.82
child: $210.40
4 day hoppers are
adult: $255.65
child: $242.38
Yep, our kids used to nap but now we couldn't get them out of the parks if we tried. We tend to not be morning people so, while we miss the advantage of making the rope drop, we end up doing just fine getting to the parks a little later and staying until close. Mixing up some meals and more relaxing entertainment where they can sit for a while (parades, Great Moments w/ Mr. Lincoln, etc.) seems to help as well.Everyone is different with regards to naps when young. I just changed part of our stay to DLH! So excited!
We have complementary experiences, LOL, since I have never stayed at DLH but we have stayed at GCH and absolutely loved it! It would have been my preference, but it can't convince my DH to pay for it...$650/night even with orbitz discount, ack! It looks like the room at GCH are a little smaller but they are laid out beautifully and the balcony is a huge plus for me. I do love the dark wood Mission style though. The location is just so amazing too. We overlooked the monorail and my kids could have spent all day watching it.
I did send some room requests to vacation planning yesterday, I hope we have a chance at a nice view and that it is warm enough for the pool!
Wait?!? You can request rooms ahead of time? Ours is just a standard room, but a relative of mine got them for me at like 240/night after tax & stuff. I could never afford $650/night
