I hope that changes soon and they open Cabanas and Marceline back up for sit-down dining for dinner. There are some of us who are not the biggest fans of the MDR experience for dinner yet still enjoy DCL. I have to admit, I don't think a dinner show of Elsa & Anna, or Ant-Man and the Wasp is something I'm interested in either with my dining rotation. I try to do Palo and Remy (haven't been on the Wish yet for Enchante') as often as I can. When I'm not dining there for dinner I prefer Cabanas. I also really don't care to sit in my stateroom and order room service dining on mac & cheese, hotdogs, hamburgers, chicken tenders, wraps, or a BLT either. In short, the buffet being converted to sit-down dining is a very nice option for some of us on Disney cruises.
I agree with you, but the solution to that is not running promotions like the Disney+ discount until they can fill the staffing shortages and offer the benefits they once did and the same service.

It is going to be years before things get back to pre-pandemic service levels, if ever. I can't imagine how much they would have to cut capacity to free up enough staff to reopen.
