The guy who wrote that blog post is one of my favorite DPB writers because he actually will answer questions in the comments.

Also, I just figured out that if you right-click on each picture and choose "open image in a new tab" it will give you a bigger version of each pic (may be showing my age here as I squint at the pics...)

If I'm comfortable before the start, the weather is too warm. #racecomfortmatters

I just find my comfort zone to be a lot wider on the warm end than the cold end. As long as things are on the cool end of comfortable I'm fine during the race. Standing around shivering or hassling with throwaways really hurts my ability to focus on the start of the race.

Princess is the biggest Dooney seller for them. Those Dooneys sell out, while Marathon Weekend Dooneys end up at the outlets for weeks after. I think they're still selling the Dark Side prints at the parks, too.

That's the only reason I can think of as to why Princess has a pre-order and Marathon Weekend/Light Side do not. The purse Facebook groups are going crazy over the Princess print...shoppers are taking orders for non-runners, etc. I'd expect the same for Tink.

At work and trying really hard to focus but can't. Leaving Thursday morning for my first rD event and first half marathon. So nervous and excited at the same time. With the ever changing weather forecast, I keep adding things to bring. What started out as a carry on for the weekend is now a checked bag.

The comments are cracking me up on the merch post. 4 comments, 3 of them asking about the Dooneys, and I recognize all of the names from the Dooney groups on Facebook.

I think the merch is okay. I'll probably limit myself to a couple of shirts/sweaty bands. Maybe the Christmas ornament but I'll need to see that one in person, I think.

Well, my flight this morning was re-sheduled to tomorrow. Trying to find another way down today. Sigh.

Oh no! Weather?

Me too. I shiver like my brothers chihuahua! And then I feel awful. Hoping that they pass out the RD mylars at the half, that I could reuse Sunday.

So sad - because I would lose it if they stopped that race since it is my favorite!
