Marathon Weekend 2017!

Very crowded here at MK. Got here this morning right as the welcome show was ending. Everyone had to go through metal detectors.

We did get a lot done prior to lunch with minimal waits and are trying to utilize FP as much as possible now where we can get them.

The Beach Club pool is quiet too. Here's hoping it's like this for the meetup tomorrow afternoon.

Quiet at the Poly pool bar as well. Which I needed after battling the Harry Potter crowds this morning.

Also Disney is apparently selling 2018 race packages at the expo according to my travel agent if that interests anyone. Limit quantity though.

Do any of y'all know if I can hang around the airport and ride ME 2 hours later than my flight lands? Do they check to see if you landed at the time/flight number that you gave them? I don't want to call them back, AGAIN, and change my time, AGAIN, unless I really need to.

Touring Plans has MK at a 10/10 for crowd levels. AK has the lowest level (4).

Tomorrow MK drops down to an 8. Should be *slightly* quieter.

Yeah. I left to go grab lunch at the Contemporary. I had fastpasses for MK but I just canceled all of them because I can't bring myself to go back there...

I don't think it matters as we've had last minute flight changes & were later than original scheduled, but we couldn't let them know and were fine. They just want you to have a reservation ahead of time so you should be fine.

It looks like everything gets better starting this weekend. My kids just went back to school today. I'm sure that's a factor.

They don't hand them out anymore at the expo, you get one when you gear bag drop. They started this at Wine & Dine & all reports say it's how this weekend is working too. So you'll get one at gear bag drop off

I'd suggest popping into the Gear Check tent after the 10k tomorrow and asking if they've got an extra. Might save you a trip back to the Expo.

Us too--v. glad we decided to do the vacationing on the far side of the weekend instead of prior.

Saturday - 8/10
Sunday - 3/10
Monday - 4/10
Tuesday - 4/10

I've found their predictions to be fairly accurate.
