Congrats everyone on a great 5k! It truly was a pleasure getting to meet so many of you at the pre race meeting and seeing a few of you cross the finish line. Way to go! Hope to see some more friendly faces tomorrow morning!

Happy with the run and nailed PR #1 with a 21:02 unofficially. It was a little congested at the beginning of A wave 1 and a few people tripped over each other so thankful to make it out without incident.

Question about linking the bibs to photopass - do we have to wait until after the races are run to add the bibs? I tried to be proactive and enter them tonight and get an error that there are no photos to load.

Okay, just to give y'all a laugh, I wrote down the codes on a sticky note with HM- then M- so I would have them to enter. Then I used @Ariel484 directions to enter but put the HM in first and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't work! Doh!

Now all entered and all good.

finally got the project I was waiting for comments on back....then the person who handed the folder they were in to me said they were sick...and to probably slather myself in sanitizer.... this is what I get for leaving my quiet (minus the Disney music) little office for 10 minutes......

Ugh that is terrible! Every time I venture out of my office (because I have to use the bathroom sometime) I hear someone coughing and I am quick to lock myself back in and slather on the sanitizer. I have a little bottle in my pocket, lol! Good luck!

If I had an office, I would put one of those signs on it that I've seen people use on their babies' strollers saying that they must have washed their hands before coming in. Or maybe I would just rent a Hazmat suit. That's not overkill, is it?

There was a bunny that darted across the course in front of me. The runner next to me had to jump over it!

I guess that is better than a reptile sighting. Florida running scares me for this reason.

We made it! Mateojr was feeling sick last night, but this morning he said he was ready to go. I broke my rule of not carrying anything and brought my phone along for him to use during the waits. He happily waited in our corral (stayed busy with the phone calculator/some occasional dancing) and very much enjoyed meeting @DopeyBadger (congrats on that PR!) Race started, he had a good pace going and then . . . it all falls apart. He announced (loudly and frequently for the majority of the race) that he cannot do this, and is upset that it's his "worst time ever." In the end, he made it and he danced across that finish line. After he explained his running history and reason for his "worst time ever" to a photopass photographer, he seemed ready to move on. He's thrilled with his "real Disney medal" (not rubber) and I'm grateful for all the fellow runners who helped me encourage him along the way!!

I just went in to get a picture with Pluto - didn't check wait times or anything. But I have never seen bag check like that, and I was there over New Years a couple of years ago!
