Major Disney refurb and construction completion dates worldwide

Me too...and it looks like most March dates are still bookable - I figure I need it selling out way in advance to get my wish to come true!!! Fingers crossed for some pixie dust!

They opened up dates through May 2, last night. Someone on another thread booked for April 16th, I think. I think she indicated its listed for Saturdays only right now...but I could be misunderstanding that part.

I books at 7am this morning! SOOO happy! It is currently Saturday's only...we decided that we should do this instead of one of the ROL preview shows that seem likely to pop up!

So when do we think they mean "summer 2016" like for the new fireworks at HS? Do you think there's any chance that would include the first week in June? We loved the Star Wars fireworks we saw there in January. I haven't made any plans yet for 2017 but can't wait to hear an estimated date for Avatar land....unsure if we should renew our AP's when they expire this summer....hard to plan ahead with so much up in the air.....

It could be anywhere from late May to early September. I would guess sometime in June would be likely.

Summer is a wonderfully vague term. It basically guarantees they won't be "late". You've got to think they'd like the fireworks in place for June/July though.

I hope we don't time our trip wrong! Last trip they started the frozen fireworks show the day after we checked out and this trip we are going in early June and really hope to see the star wars show!!!

We're there 3-10. My only reason for hoping FEA it's open is so it can pull crowds away from other parks! Wasn't a Soarin' fan and wasn't expecting FEA anyways.

Did I read correctly that Soarin' may open earlier than the 17th with a digital version of the old movie?
Any idea what that date that might be? Would that be considered a soft opening w/o FP options?

Well, of course. That's the day we check out. So the question is...do I tweak my days and check out on the 18th (because we really want to do Soarin', if possible) or hope for an earlier opening that week?

The new film is supposed to debut that day but I've heard the attraction will open earlier than the 17th with the old film.
