When do you speculate Fastpasses will be available for reservation for Soarin and Frozen? Will there be an announcement or will my DIS peeps just notice it? ;)

I think whenever they announce the official opening date we will see FP them or an announcement of when it will be.

I have a feeling announcements will be on hold until after ROL debuts....
Well if they want Frozen open May 27th I would think announcement comes sometime this month. That ride has had its own delays though. A ride is a lot different from a show so they should know when they can officially open, they likely already know.

If it is May 27th, why no announcement then? ROL was announced almost two months prior to its previous opening date. I don't expect to see the new frozen attraction until mid summer. Soarin more than likely later than that. Thats just my predictions

They are going to wait until they know for sure. If I'm not mistaken mine train official opening was announced fairly late as well.

They are damned if they do damned if they don't. Announce it early to create buzz and they to delay it for something (Ex: ROL) and they will be burned for it. And don't announce it until late and they will burned for not allowing people to make plans for it. I'm anxious for everything new this year but I will not be going until September so I can wait. Other are probably a little less patient

I would imagine after RoL they will be particularly gun shy of making those sorts of announcements. And there's really not much advantage to doing it. People are going to go anyway...

May be time to update the Rivers of Light info in the first post...I need an emoticon for sighing.

Would it make sense to time Soarin' reopen (with old film) to occur when FEA opens...so as to diffuse the lines, keep wait times at a crazy level instead of a super crazy level? We are there in June and hoping to at least get a FP for one of the two...

Would it be safe to assume FEA, Soarin', and TT all stay at tier 1? What a nightmare.

With the additional Soarin' Theater and the additional FP+ demand FEA will bring in, I don't see any reason why all 3 should have to be tier 1. Not to mention you will have the Frozen meet and greet coming to Epcot from MK. I suspect both FEA and the M&G would be tier 1, and either Soarin' or Test Track, whichever one has the most capacity. The other should become tier 2. But if not, I'll just continue with my current strategy of avoiding Epcot and not wasting a day's worth of FPs to get 1 decent FP selection.
