Magical Express service question

We are thinking of doing the Magic 9/8/07 and staying 9/7/07 at the Animal Kingdom hotel. Is it possible to do the Magical Express service?

How would this work and how much would it cost if it's possible to even do it.

Magical Express (free service) is only from MCO to WDW resorts (and reverse), so you could not use it to get to/from the ship.
Options are DCL transfers, rental car, town car/limo...

Thanks for the replies. I usually just rent a car but this time it would be just my wife and me. This way I can relax and take it easy the whole trip. lol
