Is the Cookies too by Serenity Bay? don't they have food over there? Also where is the parasailing done at? I didn't see anything about it on the sign?:confused3

Cookies Too is between the pelican plunge and private cabanas of the new part of the family beach. There is a separate food area (I think it is called castaway air bar) at the adult beach area, so there is no need to leave the adult beach area for lunch. I am not sure where the parasailing is located, hopefully someone else can chime in.

Loving the pictures and all the helpful information. For those of you who have done the character breakfast, is it assigned like the dinner rotations? We are trying to plan shore excursions and don't want any conflict since I know my 5 year old will not want to miss it. I'm guessing that it will either be early or only on the days at sea right? Thanks!

No need to worry about a conflict with the character breakfast and shore excusions. The character breakfast are only done on sea days. The breakfasts are assigned by your dinner dining rotations. Your character breakfast will be the next day after you are at Animators Palate and will be held in Parrot Cay. You will also be assigned a time based on whether you have main or late dining. I believe main dining has breakfast at 8am and late at 9:30am, hopefully someone else can chime in on the times.

Evening everybody

Loving the pictures. CC looks so great I want to leave right now:cloud9: Got a ways to go yet.

Sorry Laura: no idea where the parasailing meets:confused3 But then I'm not inclined to try it myself. Love the thought, but not the price:rotfl2:

I'm with you Maureen! Love the pics, want to go NOW...and the thought of parasailing sounds good right about now.....but I can think of other things I'd rather try than that one! My kids and hubby have done it, and parachuted out of a plane, so I'll just watch them...besides~ my thinking is that someone has to stay on the ground and be mom:rotfl:

I'm sure though Laura your crew will love it! My crew loved it. I think for us, just enjoying CC might be in order besides snorkeling and biking. Hope you find your answer where they meet!:thumbsup2

thanks for the info guys. I will just dig further on the website and see about it. I think the stingrays might be nice to try too though.:thumbsup2

If I see Mickey that is. I am a man on a mission there today. Being a avid pin collector, I need all the new Hidden Mickey Pins that are out. I may not even get on any rides. We shal see.

Well, aren't we surprised? See, one never knows what one will learn about someone else here on the boards! We've never really gotten into the pins (though we do have a few, even the segway pins), but see, you've surprised us!!:goodvibes

While you're looking for your pins, IF you see a magical character give him a hug (or a handshake) from the Sullins! Have a great day, and hope you find TONS of pins!:thumbsup2

Well do. Yes we are very much into pins. This is why we were so upset at DCL in the way they handeled pins on the Panama Canal cruise. We had to wait hours in line for each pin and overnight for the last one. I was having flashbacks to the '05 westbound Panama Cruise that I was on. We had thought they learned their lesson from that cruise because on the '08 westbound we had a order form in our room. That worked brilliantly. Not so this time. No order form, just long times in line.

Good morning fellow cruisers. It is that time of the week again. Another week has gone by.
We now have only

weeks to go to the Magic. :cool1::cool1::cool1:

 ALMOST IN OUR 20'S!!!!

Think we're gonna have little mini parties every countdown (or at least do something for the cruise every Saturday) to Celebrate how much closer!!

O.K. my fellow PARADISE CRUISERS:goodvibes have a great Saturday!

:goodvibes Just me again folks! Quick question for most of you...
Which do you prefer ~ Main or late dining?

I picked main dining when I first booked our cruise. Wasn't really thinking about it and thought 5:30 or so was fine. Then I remembered when my dd and I were on RCCL and it seemed like we had to 'rush' to get there. So I changed to late dining.

I was fine with that (don't usually eat at 8:30pm normally) so that we'd have plenty of time and could even order room service snacks while getting ready for the nights activities.

Then....:scared1: today I read where late dining means you have a 9:30 breakfast? Is this right? We are early risers so 9:30 seems pretty late.

Which have you picked and what do you prefer?

Thanks!

Main vs Late dining is a personal decision that you need to decide which is best for your family. We are early to rise and early to bed so we would only consider main dining. We have never felt rushed since when we do shore excusions, we start early before it heats up.
With the exception of the character breakfast, breakfast and lunch do not have assigned times. You can go any time to Topsider's or Lumiere's when they are open. The character breakfast is assigned times based on your dinner time. You can ask to attend the early time for the character breakfast since not everyone shows up. I do not think the CMs would have any issue with that.

We have the main seating as it's suits us better then we are free to enjoy the shows have a wonder round the ship or have a few cocktails:rotfl2:and the girls are free to go to the clubs meet friends etc and after a day in the sun we are ready to head back to the room mid - late afternoon to get ready if we were the later seating I fear we would have 40 winks sleep and miss dinner.:rotfl: if it was just dh and myself then I might do the later.
Another reason is that we would be to full to enjoy the pirates night buffet if we went to the later seating.
:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1: 31 weeks!

Decisions, decisions! So, just because you have late dining, you can eat breakfast anytime except the character breakfast? I'm so :confused3...
I do not want anymore decisions:rotfl: ....
Thought I was doing well due to the MIL liking to stay around after dinner and having her cup of coffee and chatting. Had read on here that they kind of 'rush you out' of the main dining...For those of you that do main dining, do you feel like that?

It's times like these ..."Would someone just tell me what to do?":rotfl:

AND the Dessert Buffet:sad1:

Last cruise we had late seating and imagine my surprise when I found out there was more food for the Pirate party: Didn't have 1 ounce of room in my tummy. And the desserts, we walked out of our restaurant only to find the line to Lumierre's had already started and was nearly back through the Promenade Lounge. Took LOTS of pretty pictures. Didn't eat an ounce there either. :rolleyes1

This time we have main seating and though it is earlier than we would normally eat I am happy to be able to sample stuff later in the evening. I suspect this will have me working quite a bit to get rid of some cruise weight after the fact. But it'll be worth it:woohoo:
