Magic Bands are live on DME!

So my Septemeber/October trip I see the option for 'Magic Band and Cards' in MDE. When I click on it, I'm prompted to link a reservation. I click link and add my confirmation number and last name but it returns an error stating I've already linked my reservation to my account...

ok cause i'am already down to 59 days and i haven't been able to select my colors yet for the bands and ill be staying at the contemporary if so keep us up to date and see if your bands arrive to your door before your arrival date.

Oh and we are just 30 days out.

Hi!!! It let me make fastpass plans for the 4 adults and not the 2 children. I cancelled them b/c didn't know if they would let the kids on the rides or not. Website said children not eligible for fastpass+. Anyone have any info? And we don't have a full package, just room only.....exciting, thou....

I have the same problem but I left my plans- living on the edge lol.

It isn't active for your dates. Just a test for August dates.

Woah major update- just called Disney (when asked by automated responder the nature of my call I said fast pass plus and it directed me straight to tech support) about not being to add my kids. My access is apparently an error. PEOPLE WHO ARE REAL TESTERS HAVE RECEIVED AN EMAIL WITH A SPECIAL CODE. Even though the website let me customize bands and make some fp reservations times- CM says we will not be part of the test group. Booooo

I customized my Magic Bands and selected FP+'s this morning for my trip in 29 days. Afterwards, though, I called and talked to a remarkably efficient CM for about 45 minutes. She put me on hold and contacted the IT department in charge of MM+. They confirmed what PP's said -- that you have to get the email to actually be part of the test, even if you are able to access it on MDE. She said that if I don't get the email, I won't receive the customized bands I ordered or be able to use my FP+ reservations. She did say that the reservations are flagged, so if you miss your email for some reason, they will ask you at check-in if you want to participate if you are eligible.

getting excited only to find out IT is screwing with the website... I really hope they get it together before they actually roll it out.

Hmmm not sure. But I know I'm out. . All of my info/dining was correct. It let me make the FP+ ride reservations and showed overlap with ADRs.....but like I said my kids were listed as not eligible (one bc she won't have a pass since she is only 2).

If you read Chinese, you are in luck! I just went to change an ADR and the numbers on the dining page drop down menu are in Chinese.

Thanks. I couldn't figure out what MDE was. I will keep checking for some tutorials--why reinvent the wheel right? Thanks for the info. I'll try it.

Have you had any luck finding the site? It starts with the Walt Disney World Resort web site (https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/). This is site many people make their reservations from. On the top right is a link called "my Disney experience". Under their is where you can personalize stuff for yourself, trip, fastpass+ and magicbands. Not all of the options are available to all people at this time. There seems to be a real issue with this website.

In addition there is a app (on my Iphone it's called MyDisneyExperience) you can get for smartphone (Iphone & Driods) that links the "my Disney experience" information to your smartphone. It appears to utilize the fp+ you will need a smartphone and this app.

I have a trip scheduled for August 4th, and I got a pop-up saying I was elligible (no email as of yet), and I was able to customize my bands and make FP+ reservations no problem. It said my bands were shipping soon.

No idea if my stuff will work, but better to fill it out just in case.
