getting excited only to find out IT is screwing with the website... I really hope they get it together before they actually roll it out.

CRO have been telling people who call that Pop, AKL, CR and YC guests between 8/2-8/27 will be part of the next test group, so I don't think it's an error this time!

Ugh they told me error. Even though we are at pop during the dates. Even though I was able to use FP+ on MDE and set it all up, ordered magic bands.......CRO told me it wasn't real unless we got a special email with a code from Disney.

Those staying in those resorts have just hit Disney Gold. You get FP+ AND FP-

I don't know about gold, I think the next batch of tester may only be able to use FP+ if not the next batch then soon. All the new QA and FP+ official Disney info makes it clear if you are FP+ eligible no FP. It's coming.

Also my trip is in Oct and I have links for Magic Bands and FP+ but when I click on them I get a pop up that explains that I am not yet eligible. We'll see when I hit the 60 mark in 22 days an check in what happens.

I have linked my tickets, I have a DVC room only at the BWV. I see alot of people worried about linking the tickets. I am not worried and here's why. It's all about eligiblilty. Everything in the FP+ official information says that if you are eligible for FP+ you basicly have to use it. To be eligible you have to have everything link and an email invite until full roll out. So if I don't have an email invite and my tickets are linked I am not eligible for FP+ and use the old system. If my tickets are linked and the full roll out happens I have no choice but to use FP+. I will always be able to use one or the other. For people trying to avoid FP+ don't link your tickets. But if you want to use it, link them.

I think the system will continue to say that for everyone. I mean, it's said that in the T&C all along hasn't it? It's just that so far they have offered a means to access FP- even if on FP+. It's just a matter of when they stop offering that means.

I have a trip scheduled for August 4th, and I got a pop-up saying I was elligible (no email as of yet), and I was able to customize my bands and make FP+ reservations no problem. It said my bands were shipping soon.

No idea if my stuff will work, but better to fill it out just in case.

I just called and was told even though I was able to complete everything that it was an error. We will be at POP Aug 7.

The error is the link is open to everyone, not just those eligible for the next test.

If you didn't get an emailed link, you aren't eligible for FP+ for your trip.

That thought did cross my mind. But I guess that depends on how the test goes. And if that's the case, then it seems they might need to try this without FP- for the participants.

I had friends try and they could not get in, so I'm not sure how the links become open for some?

bummer. Some people were told they were testers though. But then again getting two different answers from CRO is nothing new! I hope you still get to try it out. We are at BC/Poly so no go for us either way.

And potentially disasterous, IMO. But at some point they have to jump in and test the waters. 1,000 people here and there will never get this off the ground.

Yes, when I linked my ticket I got a clear warning box that by doing so my ticket media was no longer valid.

So just for fun, I added my MNSSHP tickets and yes I got the warning box. So here is my question, do I need to bring that ticket with me to the park. I am not stupid enough to actually leave it at home during the testing, but it seems to tell you with that error that the actual ticket is no longer valid or needed. So if Magic Bands are not rolled out by October, how do I get into the party? I don't think I will be linking my actual ticket unless I have to.
