I have been lurking on this board for awhile and reading everyone's posts really inspired me.
I starting cutting down my portions the end of May, and the end of June I started walking at least a half an hour each evening and about the same time started low carb. No special diet, just cutting down on the breads, pasta and potatoes. In August I added a 15 minute afternoon walk, in addition to the half of an hour walk at night. My goal was to lose at least 20 pounds by the time my trip came up.
I am going to WDW on Saturday 27 pounds lighter and I feel great because of all the walking I have been doing.
I will continue with the low carb while in WDW, since I will be by myself this should be easy enough to do. When I come back I want to start the South Beach diet, I need to lose about 50 more pounds so I think a more "formal" diet would be good.
This board has been a real help to me.

If you decide to officially become a WISHer, be sure to note how much weight you've lost already under your WISH clipart [we all start with the WISH member clippie and earn loss clippies for weight lost during the time we are on the challenge] --- I would surely hate for you not to claim what you've worked so hard at already.
