We're heading down next weekend and there is a chance my son will lose his first tooth while we are there.
It wiggles in all directions, and the new tooth has broken through the gums behind it already.

Any fun ideas for the little guy if it does happen?
Does Tink know the Tooth Fairy, I mean they're both faries, right?

My daughter lost a tooth at Disneyland. I snuck down to the gift shop and bought a Tink locket. I left that with a note (and $3) from Tink saying that she's the official Tooth Fairy sub-contractor on Disney property.

I will add.... just be sure you are ready. It was hard for me to find an opportunity to shop alone. And I was lucky I had the right change to leave.

We have daughters but you same situation with 1st loose tooth. I bought this tiny Tink glass bell (approx. $15) at the Glass Emporium on Main St. and had it engraved with the their name and 1st Tooth. Then Tink and the Tooth Fairy left a note about the special occasion.

When my kids were little and they lost a tooth at Disney Tink always came instead of the tooth fairy, We would just leave them money as we did at home and added some "pixie dust" that I would bring with me (glitter). They knew that Tinkerbell took over the official tooth fairy's job while we were in "her" home!! So Cute!! Have fun!!

Enjoy The Magic!!

Tink came to visit us during our last visit! She left a special note and a few extra dollars than the tooth fairy at home. DD was so excited!

My DD lost her first tooth at DW. I went to the gift shop and bought her a charm bracelet (the kid kind) and put a charm on it so she will always remember where she lost her tooth. The CM who worked in the gift shop gave me some Mickey confetti to put under her pillow. I also wrote a note from the tooth fairy explaining that since she was in DW that Tinker Bell took the tooth, she thought that was cool.

Great minds think alike - tink left my daughter a note saying she helps out the tooth fairy at WDW. I got a small Disney gift shop gift (and tink asked her to pass along a small gift to sis too) and daughter got a little more cash than usual.

My daughter lost a tooth while we were on the Disney Dream. We were able to get a special pin from the CM that she proudly wore stating that she had lost a tooth. You may be able to ask a CM at the front desk that she has lost a tooth...they may have the same pin.

Happy Planning!

I've always told my kids that if they lost a tooth at Disney, Tink would take over tooth fairy duties. We've come close but so far no luck.

You do want to be prepared. It's *possible* there could be pixie dust if you told a CM, but don't prepare for that, prepare on your own. At home DS gets gold dollar coins, so when he had a really loose tooth I was sure to bring some of those. The day he lost it we were heading to DTD anyway, and I somehow managed a few minutes in line at the Lego Store and got a little something extra.

My DD lost her first tooth at Disney. We put a 'tinkerbell' pin under her pillow (in a small gift box) as she was pin trading. We were like you and suspected it might fall out so bought a tinkerbell pin to be prepared.

you could do somthing to commemorate the occassion,
some ideas above are great with Pins, Disney Dollars and such!

i would defo go prepared as it may happen on the way down to Florida! if it happens on property there is some really nice Tink merchandise you can buy

My son lost his first while we were there. I gave him a Disney dollar and a silver dollar that I brought with me. I also brought the tooth pillow from home. I tried for confetti, but they had none at POR at all. He is our third, so I didn't feel I could buy something significantly bigger/more expensive than the first two kids got for their teeth. All of them got silver dollars for their first tooth.

My daughter lost a tooth in Disney World. I bought Disney Dollars at the front desk and chocolate coins from the gift shop. And when I told the extremely nice CM why I was buying them, she gave me a Tinkerbell pin to add so my daughter would know Tink fills in for the Tooth Fairy in Disney World. It was very special.

We went prepared, knowing it was likely. Our tooth fairy usually leaves gold dollar coins at home, so I traveled with some and then Tink left the note since it was her "territory." :tinker:I didn't want to have to deal with running out and getting something else that would likely cost more. The kids were already getting special souvenirs that week.

I'll be honest, I convinced my son to yank his out the day before we left for our disneyland vacation. I didn't want to deal with losing his first tooth there. But the tooth fairy did leave a note to say hi to tinkerbell!
